2. Carefully organize and coordinate the participation of the 13th World Tobacco or Health Conference
The 13th World Tobacco or Health Conference will be held from July 12 to 15, 2006 held in Washington, USA. The theme of the conference is "Capacity Building for a Tobacco-Free World". Participants will focus on the latest research progress on tobacco science and its impact, and share information on tobacco addiction, withdrawal symptoms, national policies, second-hand smoke and evaluation of the implementation effects of the Framework Convention on Tobacco Control. Through the network established among researchers, we can understand the global tobacco control experience and effectively promote the promotion of the Framework Convention on Tobacco Control in the member states of the United Nations.

5. Organize youth tobacco control activities and the 2006 World No Tobacco Day Youth Tobacco Control Seminar

The China Tobacco Control Association and the Youth Tobacco Control Professional Committee of the association jointly plan to hold the World No Tobacco Control Conference at the end of May next year. On the eve of Tobacco Day, a youth tobacco control seminar was held, and a signing ceremony for primary and secondary school students in Beijing was also organized.
