Fees and probation period
The student visa fee is 3202 yuan/person. In general, the processing cycle of materials in the visa center is 15 working days, and the peak period will be extended to 18-20 working days. Of course, if time is too late, you can also apply for the fast visa service in the UK or the super priority visa service (that is, the 24-hour fast visa service).
British express signing service: the probation period is shortened from 15 working days to 3-5 working days, and the service fee is RMB 5226.
Super priority visa service: the processing cycle is shortened to 24 working days after the application is submitted, and the service fee is RMB 1 1997 yuan.
Because it takes time to sort out the materials needed for visas and avoid the peak period of visa application, we suggest that students prepare materials three to four months in advance and submit their visa applications three to one and a half months before the start of school at the earliest.
Second, the UK study visa process
Step 1: Fill in the application form online.
First, we need to register and log in to the UK Visa Center official website, and fill in and submit the visa application form online. Upon completion, we need to pay an application fee of 348 pounds and a medical surcharge of 65,438 pounds +050 pounds/year.
Step 2: Print the application form and sign it.
After completing the online study application, you will receive an email containing the application number (namely "GWF reference number"); After submission, you need to print and sign the application form (once the application form is submitted, it cannot be modified, and the information must be accurate before submission).
Step 3: hand in your signature.
Bring all the application materials to the visa application center in person on the scheduled date, submit the application materials and collect biometric fingerprints; Materials to be prepared when applying for studying abroad in T4 include online visa application form, valid passport, CAS number, tuberculosis certificate, education certificate, English proficiency certificate, deposit certificate and so on.
There are 15 cities in China that can apply for British visas, including Beijing, Wuhan, Shenzhen, Changsha, Shenyang, Chengdu, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Jinan, Nanjing, Fuzhou, Guangzhou, Xi 'an, Kunming and Chongqing. You can choose the nearest city to submit your visa application materials.
Visa centers in the UK usually start issuing numbers at 7: 30 in the morning, so you just need to wait patiently to get the numbers. When signing the contract, we also need to collect fingerprints and take photos, that is, collect biometric information. After this process is completed, our signing process is generally over.
Step 4: Get a visa.
After the visa application is accepted, you can choose to go directly to the visa application center to get your passport, or you can pay extra for it by express delivery.
