The Young Volunteers Association of the Department of Computer and Information Science is a group composed of students who volunteer to engage in social welfare and social security. Under the leadership of the Youth League Committee of Hunan Institute of Technology and the General Branch of the Department of Computer and Information Science, the Association actively participates in social practice activities, strives to complete the tasks assigned by various departments of the school, and provides voluntary services for social development.
Since its establishment, the Young Volunteers Association of the Department of Computer and Information Science has been adhering to the purpose of "dedication, friendship, mutual assistance and progress", always pursuing the principle of "volunteering, dedication, pragmatism and persistence" and carrying forward the spirit of "helping others and working hard". Association activities

The development of the association is inseparable from the cooperation of the team. After the new members of the Youth Federation were confirmed in 2008, in order to get to know each other and give the Youth Federation a better development momentum, we held the first activity at the resort center near Mianhu Lake, which also gave everyone a deeper understanding of the Youth Federation. Active preparations were made in the early stage of the activity, and several tentative directors publicized the activity and arranged the masses to participate in it in a unified way. In the activity, we divided our work and cooperated, which reflected a harmonious atmosphere from the beginning. The activity is divided into two parts: preparing dinner by yourself and entertainment. The active participation of all members also made the activity achieve the expected results. In the process of cleaning tableware, everyone is very active, which makes the purpose of our association reflected for the first time. In the evening entertainment activities, everyone used their carefully prepared programs to show them one by one, winning wave after wave of climax.
The activity was very successful and I believe it left a deep impression on everyone. After the party, we chatted happily as old friends. Among them, it embodies the strength of the development of our youth association.
Second, respect and love the elderly, you have me-a trip to the nursing home
The nursing home in Zhuhui District of Hengyang City is a fixed service site of the Young Volunteers Association listed in our hospital. There are 28 lonely old people living here. We are well aware of the simplicity of nursing homes, and we also know that those old people have never enjoyed family happiness and lived a lonely old age. In mid-August of 20XX, with the goal of inheriting the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation and building a harmonious lake worker, we launched the activity of "respecting and loving the elderly, having you and having me"-a trip to the nursing home.
In the early stage of the activity, we made active preparations: the propaganda department produced a bulletin board on respecting the elderly with the theme of "caring for the elderly"; The Ministry of literature and art actively organizes small programs for the elderly; Outreach and sponsorship by the Ministry of External Relations; The organization department mainly calls on students to actively participate in activities and formulate service contents.
On August 16, 20XX, every volunteer of our Youth Federation walked into the nursing home in Zhuhui District with enthusiasm, care, love and patience. First of all, we gave the nursing home a general cleaning: cleaning, tidying up the room, washing dishes ... we enjoyed it. After the cleaning activities, we cut the prepared cakes and sent them to each old man. It's sweet to watch them eat the cake. We chatted with the old people, and then sent us the entertainment programs carefully prepared. Driven by us, the old people can't help but join the program and have fun with us. Among them, what impressed us deeply was that a blind grandfather played the erhu like a bosom friend. He didn't play the erhu well, but we were fascinated by it ... At that moment, we couldn't tell whether we touched the old man or the old man touched us.
Although they have no children, their childlike smiles tell us that they are very happy when we hug the old people, listen to their stories and play with them. After the activity, with the blessing in our hearts, we poured our love into singing and conveyed it to them.
Caring for the elderly and sending them a warmth shows the good spirit of our contemporary college students and enhances their sense of social responsibility. We hope that through this activity, we can appeal to more people to care for the elderly.
After the event, the propaganda department publicized the event through bulletin boards and other forms. This activity set off an upsurge of respecting and loving the elderly in the college, and at one time many young volunteer associations also devoted themselves to respecting and loving the elderly.

Civilized supervision is an important symbol of a school's comprehensive quality. However, it is inevitable that there will be resentment at work, but this has not deterred the volunteers of the Youth Federation. At the end of the week's work, due to the good performance of the volunteers, our team was not only well received by the restaurant staff and dining students, but also won the first prize of the excellent organization of the college, and two of the volunteers also won the excellent individual award of the civilized supervision of the college.
AIDS prevention propaganda-stop AIDS, you and I go together.
Since the first case of HIV infection was found in Hunan Province 1992, AIDS in our province is spreading from high-risk population to general population, and the prevention and control situation is quite severe. Recognizing the significance of this activity, the Young Volunteers' Association of the Department of Computer and Information Science vigorously publicized and carried it out widely, calling on all faculty and students in the college to prevent AIDS, care for AIDS patients and build a great wall of steel to prevent AIDS.
The Association has made quite adequate preparations for this: the International Liaison Department contacted the staff of Hengyang Red Cross Society on its own initiative, from which it learned about the current AIDS prevention and control situation in Hengyang City and learned relevant AIDS prevention and control knowledge. The relevant staff of the Red Cross were moved by our association's ideas and sincerity, and offered to donate 600 AIDS prevention brochures to our association to show their support for our move. The organization department organized volunteers to conduct a questionnaire survey on AIDS prevention in the whole hospital.
