? Reed flowers grow old with me everywhere. Who will fly next to the swallows in my hometown? In late autumn, when I saw this title in Qingdao Fangdian Bookstore, I instantly thought of two old poems, and my heart was sad. Then I looked at the old books and videos that took up most of the cover, and I felt very intimate without reading the content. It is not common for me to buy books by unknown authors without recommendation like this.
Xue Bing's Swallow of the Old Family is very unusual. First of all, 67 kinds of books introduced and commented by 66 articles are used books and second-hand books, and some have even traveled to many places and entered and exited several homes; Moreover, they are all copies signed by the author (or translator)! Each article is accompanied by two pictures, one is the cover of the book and the other is the page with the title. Even more unusual is that the names of the giver and the recipient appear at the same time.
There are 67 kinds of books, which can be roughly divided into academic works and literary works. The former is Du's Textual Research, Shi Meng's Essays on Modern Literature in China, and Shi's Eight Hundred Years of Medicine. The latter is Zhou Jiazhi's Thinking Room, the first edition of poetry, and Hua Meng's Overseas Literary Stars. Most of them are not bestsellers; There are also several famous works, such as Fei Xiaotong's jiang village economy, or an unknown work by a famous artist, How to Create a New Dragon: Myth and Truth, and Zi Han's Journey Home.
Because all the books reviewed are signed books, Xue Bing introduced not only the giver (author), but also the receiver. This is another feature of this book. First, introduce the publishing house, publishing time and format, and sign the text according to the record, then introduce the author and the recipient in turn. In addition to the place of origin and the year of birth and death, the focus is on the writings of both sides. Then there is the main body of the article: comments on the works.
Comments are the greatest attraction of this book. Mr. Xue Bing works in Jiangsu Writers' Association and has many contacts with literary figures, so he knows many authors and recipients, and even has close contacts with some of them, but he writes without mercy. Mr. Hu Shanyuan used to be a teacher of Sun Yat-sen University and Zhijiang University in Kaifeng, editor of World Bookstore, editor of Shenbao and Central Daily during and after the Anti-Japanese War, and consultant of 1986 Jiangsu Writers Association. He is both a senior editor and writer and an old colleague of Xue. Xue commented on his novel Scattered Flowers Temple in this way: the development of thoughts and behaviors is completely illogical, just to put a red hat on the novel. ? It is slow in pace, flat in plot, vague in details, straightforward in language and difficult to read. To be fair, my colleagues in Misa Society were only young artists at the beginning. Hu Shanyuan, who survived half a century later, has no advantage except his age. It is inevitable that you will be surprised when reading for the first time. The author of Selected Poems of Zang Yunyuan used to be the vice president of Nanjing Art Institute, the consultant of Jiangsu Writers Association, and the predecessor and colleague of Xue. Xue said: There are only 40 poems in this collection of poems (in the early days of liberation, more than 100 poems in its manuscript were destroyed by the catastrophe), but the quality of the existing people is such that it is of little significance to increase the number. ?
Mr. Hu Shanyuan and Mr. Zang Yunyuan have returned to Daoshan, and the critics may have no scruples, so what should he do to those who were alive at that time?
Huo is a recognized master of poetry, vice-president of the Chinese Poetry Society, and author of many works such as Notes on Ten Thousand Volumes of Tang Poems. He presented Tang's poems to (Chairman of Jiangsu Writers Association), which is his first collection of poems. Mr. Qian Zhonglian called it a word in the preface? In and out of the Muslim and Baishi rooms. As good as his poems? . Is Xue strange? Compared with Han Yu, Du Fu, Zhou Bangyan and Jiang Kui? Although it is not a direct praise, the meaning can be imagined. Say it again: However, Huo is still self-aware. He admits that Mr. Su commented on the clumsy words and thought that the poems before liberation were slightly worse than before. Poetry can also be seen in this way. ? No comments, clear attitude.
Book reviews nowadays are often equivalent to? Book praise? The general routine is that 89/ 10 is a compliment, and finally 12/ 10 is like a dragonfly, with three or two sentences attached. White jade is slightly flawed? Or? Slightly insufficient? Function words and phrases like this. If this kind of book is published in the form of a collection, reviewers are often willing to pay or even provide sponsorship, and critics will take this opportunity to get to know and please a group of writers, making it easier to sneak into the literary world in the future. Swallows in their hometown dare to tell the truth when commenting on books and papers, which is admirable? But the more admirable person is not here.
When commenting on Selected Poems of Zang Yunyuan, Xue mentioned incidentally: Zang Yunyuan could not take care of himself after leaving the nanny in his later years, and finally became a partner with the nanny; Although the nanny (wife) is not well educated, she respects Zang very much and locks all his books and manuscripts in one room, which is well protected. After the nanny died, she and her ex-husband's son wanted to use the house. So he sold all the books and periodicals that his mother had treasured for more than ten years as waste paper to the waste collection station? . These accounts, like idle pen, contain but not reveal, wordless words, are particularly sad to read, whether for books or people. This is commendable! This anthology of poems didn't reach the recipient, but it flowed out of the waste station with other books and appeared in the second-hand book market. I bought it as a souvenir for the elderly? . Cool thin, a human being, of course, makes people sigh, but Mr. Xue's actions reveal a trace of warmth.
Liu Musha's translation of Sorrow about the Country and the People was given to Hu by Liu Musha. The title page not only has the signature of the giver, but also the print of the recipient Zhu. Hu's wife is Yu Meilan, the widow of Yu Dafu. Coincidentally, Xue also bought Yu Dafu's early works, edited by Chen Zishan and Wang, and published by Huacheng Publishing House 1982, with Wang's inscription on the title page. Comrade Yu Meilan will visit the village/Wang /84 Spring Festival in Shanghai. ? Xue said: These two books, originally belonging to the same family, met here. Although Yu Meilan will say, Dad is like a star in the sky? However, what about those who can bring her closer? Star? She doesn't keep her father's works far away. ? Seeing this, I can't help clapping my hands and calling it wonderful!
It's nothing. No matter how harsh Mr. Xue dares to speak, he speaks beautifully. Introduce Mr. Liu Jun's sympathy? When Bai Xianyong commented on Biography, he wrote: The recipient has been introduced before taking office. He doesn't even keep books donated by teachers and elders, let alone books donated by students. I talked to Mr. Liu Jun about it, and I just sighed. ? This spring and autumn brushwork is wonderful. He then introduced: "Compassion" took five years to complete, which shows the rigorous writing attitude. This book was reprinted only a few months after the publication of Er Ya. In 2004, Huacheng Publishing House published a revised edition. ? I haven't seen the revised edition, but I can also get a general idea of what has been revised. ? Say it again? Mr. Bai Xianyong has caused a great sensation in Chinese mainland in recent years, but this is not mainly because of his novels. ? Readers who know Bai Xianyong's family background and works naturally understand. In the same article, there are many similar words, but it is not appropriate to distinguish them; There are more wonderful descriptions in the comments on Hong Chengchou Studies, Sui Chu Ji and Jin Sha Jiang Pan. Try a roll and you'll know the ending.
At this point, readers probably know that The Swallow in My Hometown is not a light book, although it doesn't look thick. However, his gentle writing and calm narration make readers not feel heavy, and sometimes they can laugh.
Chatting for Entertainment is actually a manuscript with dozens of pages, which is not a book, but it brings me the most happiness. I believe that the warmth, joy and wisdom that a family cares about, passes on and shares with each other will definitely make you amazed and full of praise, and make you sigh: the master is among the people, and life is really beautiful!
