The Japanese name of Pomelo Band: ゆず, also known as YUZU, is homophonic with "Pomelo" in Japanese. ゆず was originally a street musician. The main venue for street performances is in front of Matsuzaka House in Kinmachi, Isesuke District, downtown Yokohama. Their signatures are still there. It is said that 7000 people gathered on the last day of the street performance. At first, Iwasawa performed alone on the road. Beichuan is so excited that he can't restrain his desire to make music. After work (when they were working in the same place), Iwasawa was invited to his home, and they started a life-changing conversation while drinking in the living room. "Actually, I also want to join in ..." Beichuan was a little nervous. He doesn't know what kind of answer Iwasawa will have. I didn't expect Iwasawa to say OK very readily. So from then on, Iwasawa was no longer the only one performing in the street, but two young people stood side by side playing the guitar. Ice cream, so I was inspired to change the name of the band to "ゆず (grapefruit)". In fact, Yanze didn't eat the nickname grapefruit at that time.
