On September 16, Chinese people and alumni in France learned that Ren Yansong Middle School founded by Mr. Ren Yansong had been renamed by the local Ouhai Education Bureau in his hometown of Wenzhou. Members of the French Overseas Chinese Association and French alumni of Ren Yansong Middle School More than 50 people came to Ren Yansong's tomb in Père Lachaise Cemetery in the 20th arrondissement of Paris to pay homage and lay flowers to Mr. Ren Yansong, and to express their opinions and opinions against the renaming of Ren Yansong Middle School.

On September 23, alumni of Ren Yansong Middle School in Wenzhou held another protest, displaying opposition banners and wearing V-shaped masks to protest and condemn the actions of the Ouhai Education Bureau.

On the same day, alumni of Ren Yansong Middle School in France also collected Chinese signatures on the streets of Paris, France, for the organization to protect their alma mater.
