The following is a model essay:
Dear leaders of the county party committee and government:
Say hello to you first. I am from Ningwu. Although I am just a grassroots citizen, I deeply love this land and always pay attention to the development and construction of my hometown. Since I was a child, I dreamed that my hometown would become a beautiful modern city. Over the years, I have been sketching the blueprint for the development of my hometown, hoping to contribute to the construction of my hometown one day. Last winter, I was glad to hear that the county party committee and government were determined to transform the old city of our county. The transformation of the old city is beneficial to the present and the future. Each of us should fully support such an important event that benefits the country and the people. Here, I submit an article I wrote last year-Vision Planning of Ningwu Urban Construction, hoping to help the urban transformation of our county.
The mountains are heavy and the waters are numerous, and the wind is coming —— Ningwu City Construction Vision Planning The geographical location of the county ningwu county is located in the northern center of the county. Looking at the clouds and Phoenix Mountain in the south, Gai Hua and Huanghualing in the north, Fangshan in the east and Guancen Mountain in the west. Hui River flows from southwest to northeast and surrounds the city. The county seat inclines from the half slope of Gaihua Mountain to the bank of Huihe River, showing a strip shape that is long from east to west and narrow from north to south. The geographical coordinates are based on Chengbei Meteorological Station, with latitude 39 degrees north, longitude 1 12 degrees 17 minutes, and altitude 1444.8 meters. The word Ningwu first appeared in the late Tang Dynasty. More than 2,000 years ago, the Western Han government established loufan county here, followed by Tianchi County and Chi Yuan County in Sui and Tang Dynasties. However, due to its location in the border area, the northern nationalities have been going south continuously, and they have been subjected to repeated wars, which makes it impossible for the construction here to continue steadily. It was not until 130 1 year (the fifth year of Yuan Dade) that Ningwutun was established, and troops were stationed in Huanghualing, and a million households were established. The establishment of Ningwu was stable, which is the origin of ningwu county now. 1450 (the first year of Jingtai in the Ming dynasty), set up Ningwu and guard thousands of households. 1468 (four years of Chenghua), Ningwu was changed to Ning Wuguan. 1725 (the third year of Yongzheng), the Ningwu government was established, with Guo ningwu county attached, and the government offices and county offices were located in Ningwu city. Ningwuguan City has remained unchanged since its establishment as a county. Since the city of Ningwu was built, the buildings have gradually expanded after the Ming and Qing Dynasties and the Republic of China. 1467 (three years of Chenghua), built a three-foot-high earthen city surrounded by four miles. At that time, only the east, south and west gates were opened. 1498 (eleventh year of Hongzhi), Governor Shen Wei expanded the city seven miles with 120 steps and added the north gate. After the establishment of the government in the Qing Dynasty, Ningwu City became an inner and outer Luocheng. There are 4 inner Luocheng city gates, 2 water inlets and 7 outer Luocheng city gates. The layout of buildings in the city is complete. There are various institutions in official colleges, more than 40 workshops of large and small firms, and as many as 64 temples in and around the city. Streets criss-cross, the most distinctive name is Baihu Street, with a total of first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth Baihu Streets. The name of "Hundred Houses" began in the first year of Jingtai in Ming Dynasty, and thousands of garrison houses in Ningwu were established. Hundreds of households are subordinate officials of thousands of households, and each household is located in every street, so these streets are named after the hundred households where they live. The rest are more than ten streets, including Dongshi Street, Beimen Street, Ximen Street, Nanmen Street, Guan Yi Street, Yunlu Street, Jiucheng Street, Banpo Street, Heping Street, Yunyangying Street, Zhanshen Temple Street, Shenmingting Street, Houdatong, and the alleys of Yamenkou, Quewo, Foot, Pit, Bridge and Hujiaxiang. Before the July 7th Incident, there were more than 7,000 residents in Ningwu and its surrounding areas. The destruction and reconstruction of Ningwu City, like a lock and a key, has been a battleground for military strategists since ancient times. Therefore, it also suffered from war, and urban construction suffered great damage. Mainly damaged three times. The first time was in the late Ming Dynasty. 1644, Li Zicheng went north to Beijing via Ning Wuguan, where he was stubbornly resisted by Ningwu soldiers and civilians headed by Zhou Yuji. Li Zicheng's 100,000 troops with 3,000 soldiers and civilians resisted for more than a month. However, due to the corruption of the imperial court, the local troops stayed put and refused to help, which led to the defenders running out of ammunition and food and being outnumbered. Li Zicheng set up a cannon on the hillside in the east of the city, bombarded it for more than half a month, and finally disintegrated the East City Wall and captured Ningwu. After the city was broken, the defenders of Ningwu fought hand-to-hand with the peasant army in the city until all of them died heroically. After this battle, Ning Wuguan City, which was operated by the Ming Dynasty for more than 200 years, was basically destroyed, especially the east of the city was almost razed to the ground. Therefore, there is a folk saying that Li Zicheng burned Ning Wuguan. In fact, the later Ningwu Fucheng was built on the original site of Ning Wuguan City. The second time was during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period, when the Japanese invaders occupied Ningwu. 1937 10 On February 2nd, the Japanese army captured Ningwu for the first time. In more than ten days, the Japanese army burned and looted in ningwu county City, killing more than 4,800 innocent people, burning down more than 80 houses, 8 temples and more than 2,600 houses. 1938 February, the Japanese army occupied Ningwu for the second time. In more than a month, Yang, the county magistrate of the Japanese Puppet Army, demolished all the towers of Ningwu and ten temples in the city for the Japanese army's military supplies. 1June, 938, the Japanese army captured Ningwu for the third time until1August, 945, when the Japanese army surrendered. During the Japanese occupation of Ningwu, they committed heinous crimes against the people of Ningwu, not only brutally killing more than 4,800 compatriots, but also destroying nearly half of the buildings in Ningwu City. Seven or eight streets, such as Jiucheng Street, Zhanshen Temple Street and Beimen Street in the west of the county seat, were all destroyed, leaving only a pile of rubble and bones. Business activities stopped completely, and culture and education were completely interrupted. Since then, the provincial Ningwu No.5 Middle School and the Northwest Shanxi Normal School have been closed, and the "Longhuahui" in the Buddhist community has ended, and hundreds of years of hard work by our ancestors have been wasted. 193710/0.2, this is a day of shame and heartache, and every one of us in Ningwu should always remember it. The first two injuries were caused by the war, and the third injury was that we shot ourselves in the foot. This time, the destruction occurred in the ten-year catastrophe of the "Cultural Revolution" that began in 1966. In the name of breaking the capitalism, we wantonly destroy cultural relics and historical sites, and then let the city build and do whatever we want. Demolition of Rudong City Gate, South City Wall, Yanqing Temple, Fu Ya, County Ya, Shuikoumen, Lv Zuge and the Temple of Wealth. Ningwu county today is nothing more than a mediocre mountain city. There is only one drum tower left, which vaguely reminds people of the once great northern Xinjiang.
