Sets the repetition and protrusion depth.
Find the "Repetition" and "Protrusion Depth" options at the bottom of the shape bar. The larger the repetition value, the smaller the size and the larger the number of fragments. The protrusion depth parameter is used to set the thickness of the fragments. The default repetition value is 10, and the protrusion depth is 0.2.
Adjust the values of the Repetition and Protrusion Depth parameters.
Place the mouse over the value of the Repeat parameter, and the mouse shape will change into a double arrow. Hold down the left mouse button and drag the mouse to the right to increase the value of the Repeat parameter, and drag the mouse to the left to decrease the value. Readers can set this parameter according to their own needs. The setting of the parameter value of "Protrusion Depth" is completed in the same way. The "duplicate" value I set here is 1 1.4, and the "duplicate" parameter value is 1.

AE: How to make the font effect of smoke floating? Hello, I'm glad to answer your question. You can achieve this effect in two ways.
1, directly find the material of smoke drifting on the internet, and then add fractal noise and threshold to match the material to make the effect of text after smoke drifting.
2. Use tfd fluid or particles to make smoke, and then use fractal noise to make appropriate black and white images, so that they can read the mask of words, and cooperate with the smoke effect to make the font effect of smoke drifting.
This is just a general idea of production, and the specific operation needs to be done carefully. I hope it helps you!
AE how to create a 3D prototype there are two ways to create a 3D font in AE:
One is to use the built-in 3D layer function+expression to create 3D fonts with thickness.
Create a text layer, change it to 3D mode, select the text layer, press P to display the text position, press alt+ left mouse button to click the stopwatch next to the text position parameter, enter the expression editing, delete the original content, type _ ALUE+[0,0, index], and enter the keypad. Then press Ctrl+D to copy the n-layer font, so that the font has a thickness. Use Bevel_lpha filter to simulate the chamfering effect on the outermost text.
The other is implemented with the help of a third-party plug-in Zaxwerks3D_nvigorator.
Closer to the operation mode of 3D software, it is very convenient to create chamfers and materials. Everything is perfect except the speed is not satisfactory. (Unfortunately, Chinese fonts are not supported. To make Chinese 3D fonts, you need to outline the text with AI, save it as version 8.0, and then import it into the plug-in. )
