When making ID photos, some people like to cut them first and then resize them. In fact, they can do it in one step. The method is as follows:
Open the material picture, select the cropping tool in the tool panel, then set the width to 2.5CM, the height to 3.5CM and the resolution to 300 pixels/inch in the cropping properties panel, and then directly pull out the range to be cropped (as shown below). Finally, double-click the cropping area.
2. Natural transition of background
When it comes to changing the background, many people have obvious edges because of their poor PHOTOSHOP skills. Here is a simple way to achieve a natural transition. After selecting the head with the magnetic lasso tool, press the shortcut key "CTRL+SHIFT+I" (reverse selection), and then press the key combination of "CTRL+ALT+D" to set the feathering value to "1" and fill it with red (some documents require blue). Now you can see some edges with some stiff edges. Now you can use the brush tool to turn the foreground color into red, and choose a soft pen to smear it carefully, so that you can achieve the effect of natural transition (as shown below).
3. Give your face some light
Generally, we need to adjust the brightness when dealing with ID photos. It is much better to use the illumination filter here than to adjust the brightness directly. Click the menu "Filter-Rendering-Lighting Effect" and select the spotlight in the upper right corner in the pop-up control panel. Relevant parameter settings are shown in the figure.
4. Scientific margin method.
Generally, ID photos need to have a certain white edge. It is mainly convenient for later cutting. Some people like to use knives to leave edges by feeling, which is unscientific. The scientific method should be as follows: first, change the background color to white, click the canvas size under the image menu, set the canvas size to 3.2CM*4.3CM, and then click "OK" to complete the setting, so that a uniform white edge effect will appear (as shown below)?
5. Wonderful imposition technology
Click the menu "Edit-Define Pattern" to define the completed ID photo pattern. Then create a new white document with a width of 12.7CM, a height of 8.9 and a resolution of 300 pixels/inch. To fill the image menu, click SHIFT+F5, select the pattern you just defined, and then click in the document to see the final effect (as shown below). You don't need to make manual repairs one by one.
