1. Forging a patient's signature infringes on the patient's right to know and to freely choose medical treatment, which is a medical tort and should bear tort liability.

2. A doctor who forges a patient's signature constitutes a crime of forging, altering or buying or selling official documents, certificates and seals of state organs or a crime of fraud, and will be investigated for criminal responsibility in accordance with the provisions of the Criminal Law.
