1. Log in to the entry-exit website and fill in the corresponding contents according to the prompts;

2. After applying for the fourth working day, you can log on to the website to check whether the application has been accepted;

3. After the application is accepted, the applicant can obtain an endorsement at the Exit-Entry Administration Office of the Municipal Public Security Bureau with a valid Hong Kong and Macao Pass, ID card and application receipt number after the tenth working day.

Once the online application is approved and endorsed, regardless of whether the applicant receives or uses it, he must pay the fee according to the regulations. If the applicant refuses to pay the fee, the public security entry-exit department will put it on record, and when the applicant applies again, the public security entry-exit department will deal with it accordingly according to the situation.

Take Guangdong Province as an example:

1. Open the entry-exit convenience network of your city public security bureau first.

2. After opening the page of the Public Security Bureau's convenience website for entry and exit, find personal business in the accreditation business. Under personal business, choose Guangdong household registration or non-Guangdong household registration according to your actual situation. If you are a non-Guangdong household registration, please click on the non-Guangdong household registration, and then the webpage will jump to the personal business handling page of the non-Guangdong household registration.

3. Choose according to your actual situation on the personal business handling page of non-Guangdong household registration. Now, take the application for personal travel endorsement to and from Hong Kong and Macao as an example. Click on the existing pass to apply for personal travel endorsement to and from Hong Kong and Macao, and then the page jumps to the existing pass to apply for personal travel endorsement to and from Hong Kong and Macao.

4. Select all the items 1, 2, 3 displayed on the personal travel endorsement page of the existing pass application to and from Hong Kong and Macao, and click Next.

5. Enter the application agreement page, read the application agreement, and select Accept.

6. According to your actual situation, after filling in your personal information, select Yes in the column of whether to mail, fill in your mailing address and contact information, postal code, finally sign and choose Next.

7. A confirmation page will pop up. If you confirm that the information you have filled in is accurate, you will confirm the submission. After submission, you just sit and wait for the courier to pick up your Hong Kong and Macao Pass.

The Hong Kong and Macao Pass, commonly known as the Two-way Permit, is a travel document issued by People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Exit-Entry Administration of the Ministry of Public Security to mainland residents in China for private travel, visiting relatives, business, training, employment, study abroad and other non-official activities.

Article 10 of the Measures for the Administration of Border Management Zones in People's Republic of China (PRC) shall apply to the public security organ at or above the county level or the designated police station where the permanent residence is located. In any of the following circumstances, you can apply to the public security organ at or above the county level or the designated public security police station where the household registration is not located by the unit certificate:

(a) the permanent residence is located in the same city as the place where the work unit is located, but not in the same jurisdiction;

(two) the central ministries and commissions and the provincial people's government agencies abroad;

(3) Persons who have lived in the place where the non-resident account is located for more than 1 year;

(four) due to job transfer, the permanent residence or temporary residence has not yet been built;

(five) national staff who really need to go to the border management area because of urgent official duties.

Article 11 Overseas Chinese and compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan shall apply for border passes with valid certificates to the public security departments, bureaus or county and municipal public security bureaus of the relevant provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government.
