World Cup draw grouping rules
The World Cup draw grouping is mainly based on four principles:

1, the 32 qualifying teams are divided into four grades, with eight teams in grade one, grade two, grade three and grade four, and teams of the same grade will not be drawn into the same group.

2.32 teams will be divided into eight groups: A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H, with four teams in each group, one team in grade one, grade two, grade three and grade four respectively.

3. In the same group, there should be no more than two European teams and no more than one team from other continents. Except for European teams, teams from the same continent cannot be in the same group.

4. Host South Africa will automatically enter Group A, occupying the position of A 1. The other seven seed teams will draw lots from B to H to enter the first place in the corresponding group.

World Cup competition rules

There are 64 matches in the World Cup, including 48 group matches, 8 finals in 1/8, 4 finals in 1/4, 2 semi-finals, 34 finalists in 1 final, and the third runner-up in the championship 1 final.

The 32 teams were divided into 8 groups by drawing lots, and each group had 4 teams to compete. Each team must play against the other three teams, and only one game can be played. Four teams in each group play six games in round robin mode, and each game lasts 90 minutes. The winning, drawing and losing scores were 3 1 and 0, respectively, and the top two teams in each group were qualified for 1.

The team that scored more goals within 90 minutes of the knockout wins. If the two sides can't decide the outcome within 90 minutes, the overtime will be played 15 minutes in the first half and the second half respectively. In overtime, if the two teams are still tied, it will be decided by the penalty of both players.
