2. Install the Microsoft loopback adapter virtual network card.
Open the control panel, select Add/Remove Hardware, select the network card, select Microsoft among many network cards, click the loopback adapter, and then install.
Open the properties of my computer, select Hardware, Device Manager, and then open the network adapter. If the installation is successful, the Microsoft loopback adapter will be displayed.
Open the control panel, network and dial-up connection (XP is network connection), open the properties of local connection, click the properties of (TCP/IP) protocol, and then enter a fixed IP address, such as192.168.0.1. The system may be busy for a while, please wait a moment.
By the way: ProE installation does not need a fixed IP address, but it does not mean that other design software does not need it. So I still suggest that you enter a fixed IP address to facilitate the installation of other software.
3: Right-click to open the "My Computer" property and select "Advanced". "Environment Variable", create a new variable in "System Variable". The variable name is "LANG" and the variable value is "CHS". Make sure.
4. Run the SETUP.EXE command in the CD for installation. At this time, the installation interface will display Chinese. Everything can be installed except the first item. At least ProE and Help are recommended.
5: If the Microsoft Loopback Adapte network card is successfully installed, "PTC Host ID XX-XX-XX-XX" (such as 02-00-4C-4F-4F-50) will be displayed, and then click Next.
6: The installation directory cannot have spaces (that is, it cannot be installed under the program file). Select Simplified Chinese.
7: Copy the decrypted file to the hard disk and generate a license (. Dat file) and specify the license.
Note: license.dat must be generated on the premise of ensuring the successful installation of the network card, otherwise the license.dat will be invalid.
8: Click Next twice.
9: Enter PTC. OLE Server "interface, select your" boot directory "; "Start searching the directory",
(It can be changed by default). Select "Chinese _cn" for Language.
10: Enter the "Windows Preferences" interface and select your "Boot Directory". (It can be changed by default).
