Wayne Charvel opened a guitar repair shop at 1975. He hired Grover Jackson. After many twists and turns, Grover bought the brand Charvel from Wayne at 1978. Charvel mainly produces piano bodies, most of which are strat-shaped.

Eddie van halen customized a guitar in Xavier, and then recorded the famous Eruption. Since then, Charvel has been famous all over the world.

From the spring of 1986, Jackson/Xavier entered the Japanese market. From 1986 to 1994, Jackson signed a contract with a company called Kyowa-Shokai to use the company's Chushin Gakki factory in Nagano to manufacture Charvel and Jackson guitars.

When the contract 1994 expired, Jinghe Shanghai wanted to continue signing with Jackson, but Grover Jackson sold Jackson American Company to IMC during this period.

Therefore, it was not signed. But husin Gakki felt that Jackson still had a big market in Japan, so they had to continue to produce Jackson guitars with another brand, including Grover Jackson, Team CJ and Jackson Stars.

Grover Jackson and Team CJ were abandoned on 200 1, and Chushin Gakki continued to produce guitars under the brand of Jackson Stars. In addition, this factory also produces Nissan Jackson all over the world.

Some "Jackson Stars" were made by Jackson's carpenters in a custom shop in America.
