1. After setting the corresponding coordinate system, add the new 3D point data set to the current scene.

2. Open the edit button of the 3D point layer and draw a point where you want to add a label, such as a roof. The drawing point function is in the Object Drawing tab.

3. Right-click the properties of the point dataset in the Workspace Manager to add a list of text fields to the point dataset.

4. Right-click the browse property sheet and fill in the required text in the new field.

5. Finally, right-click the 3D point layer in the Layer Manager, and then make a marked thematic map and adjust the attribute fields of the thematic map to achieve the required style.
