The second is a partial contract, that is, the actor only packages certain rights to the company, and the others are at his own disposal. For example, they only package the rights of film and television drama roles to the company, but they control their own performance opportunities such as shooting advertisements.
The third kind is agency contract, that is, all rights belong to the actor himself. The company only has the agency right, and it also needs to negotiate the proportion with the actors. Then, for example, companies negotiate business for actors. If the transaction is finally concluded, the actor will divide it according to the proportion of the contract signed with the company in advance.
The above three agreements have their own advantages and disadvantages.
First, the advantage is that if the company is very strong and really wants to bring out the actors, then they will run it wholeheartedly. The disadvantage is that once signed, it will take at least 3-5 years, especially for actresses, whose puberty is very short. If the company has no experience and can't cancel the contract, their acting career will be completely ruined by the company. Therefore, we must carefully and strictly stipulate what they can do in the contract, and even write it well. If they can't do anything in the first year, they have the right to unilaterally terminate the contract. If this is not good, the landlord will still have a chance to restore their freedom.
Second, companies generally want to have a complete contract, otherwise they just help actors find roles, and they will certainly be unhappy if they can't get the fastest and most worry-free advertisements. But if the landlord has a certain strength and the brokerage company is willing to pack, then you can stick to this contract model and even talk to them. They are in charge of all the movies and TV series, so you can ask them to be agents and share them with everyone.
Third, if you are not very confident in the company, you can let them act as agents for a period of time to see their strength. If they think that the landlord's market benefit is very good, they are attracted to the landlord's crew and will naturally chase you to talk about the contract, which will be beneficial to the landlord. If the landlord feels bad, he can cancel the contract at any time, because he is an agent. The disadvantage is that the general brokerage company will recommend the actors with contracts to the crew first, and then recommend the brokers.
