What is an online banking certificate?
The online banking certificate is the electronic password for online banking payment. In terms of security and confidentiality of ICBC, there are password cards and USBKEY (U-shield) to choose from. You can only choose one of them: the password card is limited to a single payment of less than 1,000 yuan. If you have a total of less than 5,000 yuan on the day and less than 20,000 yuan of planned transfers or purchases in the past, you can apply for free at the moment; U-shield is a high-density electronic certificate, which can be connected to the computer like a USB flash drive when making payments. It is like adding extra locks to online banking. It is safe, so there is no limit on the amount of transfer or shopping. It requires software installation and a one-time fee (currently about 60 yuan, which is already a 50% discount).
The difference between U-Shield and electronic password card:
From a technical point of view, U-Shield is a tool for electronic signature and digital authentication in online banking. It has a built-in micro smart card processor. The 1024-bit asymmetric key algorithm is used to encrypt, decrypt and digitally sign online data to ensure the confidentiality, authenticity, integrity and non-repudiation of online transactions.
The electronic banking password card is equivalent to a dynamic electronic banking password. There are a number of character strings printed on the password card in the form of a matrix. When customers use electronic banking (including online banking or telephone banking) to conduct payment transactions such as external transfers, B2C shopping, and payment, the electronic banking system will randomly give a set of passwords. Card coordinates, the customer finds the password combination from the card based on the coordinates and enters it into the electronic banking system. Only when the password combination is entered correctly can the customer complete the relevant transaction. This password combination changes dynamically. The password entered by the user is different each time it is used, and it becomes invalid after the transaction is completed. This prevents criminals from stealing customers' passwords to steal funds and ensures the security of electronic banking.
How password cards are easily stolen: scanning, taking pictures (especially now that mobile phones can take pictures), copying, etc. You need to keep the password card to ensure safety.
U-Shield is more difficult. If the U-Shield is lost, it is easy to find, and the possibility of the login password, U-Shield and U-Shield password being leaked to one person at the same time is relatively low.
