In June 2015, Barcelona won the Triple Crown in the 2014-15 season, and Neymar became the top scorer in the UEFA Champions League and Copa del Rey.

On August 4, 2017, Paris Saint-Germain officially announced that it had officially signed Brazilian star Neymar on a five-year contract. Barcelona officials also admitted that Neymar's legal counsel paid 222 million euros in liquidated damages and terminated the contract between the two parties.
