I just came back from a lecture at Shixin University in the suburb of Beishi this afternoon. Shi Xin's entrance is very special. There is a long tunnel, and the campus square is at the end of the tunnel. The students of Shixin Chinese Department are very cute and enthusiastic. A creative school really sent me some souvenirs (a key ring, a mug, a set of commemorative stamps, a letter of appointment for a speech). Thank you very much
I still remember my first campus speech, about four years ago, when I was invited to the Soochow Chinese Department where writer Zhang Manjuan taught to share my creative experience with my classmates. In the past four years, I have been to many schools to give lectures, but almost all of them are in lecture halls, conference rooms and even auditoriums. Today, it is very special to go back to the ordinary classroom with a blackboard on the podium. I remember that besides Shixin University, there are Soochow University, Teachers College, Chengda University, Culture University, Normal University, Jianzhong, Fuxing Art School, Neihu High School, Taoyuan Central University, Chenggong Industrial and Commercial School and so on. Most of these lectures in colleges and universities are given in the relevant societies of Chinese Department. If it is a high school, people from one grade or the whole school will attend. In addition, I have been to many literary camps in high schools and have been invited by other folk cultural groups to give lectures and give speeches. I have been to Geng Xin Institute of Culture and Education, taught in the screenwriter class of Theatre Academy, shared my creation, worked part-time in the cram school of junior high school, even explained the lyrics creation of songwriters who signed contracts with record companies, and participated in poetry lectures organized by Eslite. There should be more than 30 classes!
More than two months ago, I went to a radio program in Zhang Manjuan to promote poetry. She told me that when I graduated from the Chinese Department where I taught, she asked my classmates what impressed them or was particularly unforgettable in my college career. They all said in unison that it was a very special memory for them that I went to class, and I was really happy after I knew it. I hope that the students who have attended my lecture will meet me in the form of "The World of Poetry", which will be a vivid impression in your study career and a beautiful memory in "Memories of Youth". In fact, the students in the school are very enthusiastic. After each speech, they took photos and signed their names. Sometimes, some students take notes carefully, and of course, some people doze off. I finally understand the teacher's feeling of seeing students dozing off on the stage when I am studying! Hehe), here, I hope all the students who have listened to my speech can gain something from your memory!
In fact, apart from my own poetry major, the concepts and ideas I want to share with you most are cultural issues, whether it is architectural format, writing form, national aesthetics, national character, traditional costumes and so on. Cultural differences between countries and changes that must be carefully observed always attract me. I am an advocate of anti-globalization and cultural diversity. Don't tell me this is the era of the global village. Try to go to Britain, Norway, Italy and other countries to tell them that we are all members of the same global village, so please don't always discriminate against us to some extent in mentality, or foreign workers from the Philippines, * * *, Thailand and other countries will tell you that we are all members of the global village, so do you think these things can happen? Didn't you say that the era of the global village has come? !
Culture, race, country, region and other things that are inherently different do not need to be blindfolded and pretend that everyone is the same. Traveling abroad is attractive because different regional cultures and exotic customs, as well as completely different lifestyles attract you; For example, Zulu dance in South Africa, voodoo in Haiti, worship ceremony in Taoism, Viking legend in Northern Europe, grassland scenery in Mongolia, Shaolin Temple in Henan, British Museum in Britain, Fighting Year Festival in Spain, tea ceremony culture in Japan, Taekwondo in South Korea, Hinayana Buddhism in Thailand, hip-hop music on the streets of new york, and so on. It is precisely because of these colorful cultural assets that the earth we live in is interesting and full of vitality. Globalization should refer to the rapid exchange of information between countries, the convenience of commodity circulation between continents, and the regional cooperation of international organizations. It is absolutely feasible and necessary for these strategic considerations and economic measures to adopt global macro-thinking and commercial marketing, but it is by no means cultural globalization and comprehensive westernization (westernization naturally refers to Europeanization, and the west is a powerful mainstream culture today), regardless of diet, clothing, language and architecture.
Unfortunately, in Taiwan Province, both the form of urban architecture, the traditional costumes of festivals and the aesthetic standards of ethnic groups need to be strengthened, because there is no cultural feature of this place at all. When people consume goods, they will pay attention to the material of goods and the design sense of clothes, that is, most people attach great importance to the texture of goods. What about human texture? What is the overall aesthetic tonality of environmental appearance? How much do you know or agree with your traditional culture? As a result, when filming, the funeral must be western-style, because it is more solemn. When shooting a MV, whether the protagonist believes it or not, the wedding must be held in the church, because it is more beautiful and romantic. The point is, it is an indisputable fact that people's wedding, funeral and festive forms are really suitable to be presented on the screen, and the picture has its own aesthetic composition. If the traditional European and American wedding forms are used to express that local drama writers don't love Taiwan Bay, then there are really a bunch of writers and directors in the drama circle who don't love mainland China and Taiwan Bay. In Taiwan Province, I'm afraid there are only some gossip politicians who love local culture the most, because they are clamoring for localization and love Taiwan Province all the time. The problem is that even a century-old primary school with symbolic significance and cultural heritage is simply unable or unwilling to preserve it, so the opposition municipal government team is actually no different from the ruling authorities. For them, loving Taiwan Province is just a slogan of loving Taiwan Province, which has nothing to do with substantive cultural construction. At this point, I also want to love Taiwan Bay with my language and mouth!
Why doesn't Taipei have a clear position on cultural preservation (try not to build it! How much can you keep? In Taiwan Bay, building usually means destroying) candidates for city councilors who put forward specific ideas and political views? If there is, I will definitely vote for him. Walking on the streets of Taipei, turning on the TV, all I see are disgusting political slogans. What do you love about Taiwan Bay? Love your homeland! As you can imagine, in Britain, if someone runs for parliament, they just need to shout "Love Britain" and all other political views related to municipal affairs can be ignored. Then, after being elected, if there is something wrong with your conduct, you can explain the past by yelling at the other party to suppress English culture, or even nothing! You must think that there are no such good MPs in the world, and so on … there is one in Taiwan Bay! Moreover, there are quite a few such people. The point is not how there are so many such people. The key is why so many people think what he emphasizes is very important and vote for him. Democracy in Taiwan Province is very free, but it has no basic literacy. Taiwan Province is popular with many yuan, but it has no aesthetic basis. In short, the whole person lacks texture, just like cheap and fast-selling goods …
As I mentioned just now, in fact, the content of my favorite speech is cultural issues, and even I have thought about the topic of my speech, which is serious enough! It is called "a nation without texture", which is a cultural concept I talked about in an exclusive interview with a magazine the other day. I think it is very suitable as a speech topic. Well … ok … first of all, I am busy writing too many essays, and I still owe a debt for a song and an interview draft! Hehe … Let's talk about this topic another day … (Laughter)
