Jacky Cheung, born in Hong Kong on July 10, 1961, is a male singer and actor in Hong Kong, China. He graduated from Chongwen English College in Hong Kong.
He made his debut in 1984 by winning the first Hong Kong 18 District Amateur Singing Competition. In 1985, he released his first album "Smile". The album "Kiss Goodbye" released in 1993 broke the sales record of Chinese-language records in Taiwan.
Since 1995, he has won the World Music Awards for the world's highest-selling Chinese singer for two consecutive years. In 1997, he participated in the planning of the musical "Snow Wolf Lake" which was performed in Hong Kong for 42 consecutive performances.
