First, the Netherlands study visa materials
Students from China need to apply for an MVV (Mathingtowooropigbirblijf) visa to study in the Netherlands. You can apply for it yourself, but it is usually handled by the school that accepts you. If the application documents are true and complete, they can be processed within one month; But generally speaking, it takes about two months for the foreign party to endorse ("counter-sign"). After the visa is completed, send the approval letter to the Beijing embassy, Shanghai or Guangzhou consulate according to the student's household registration; The applicant will personally go to the embassy or consulate for specific signature with the approval letter from the embassy or consulate, and generally receive the visa within 48 hours.
MVV is valid for half a year, but students usually need to go through the temporary residence formalities and obtain a temporary residence permit within 5-7 days after arriving in the Netherlands. The validity period of the temporary residence permit is determined according to the study period, but the longest period is not more than one year; If the courses applied by students exceed 1 year, they can complete the continuation procedures with the assistance of the school.

Second, the Dutch study visa processing process
1, Dutch visas are generally registered online. Go to the relevant website and register in advance with one of your email addresses.
2. After registration, you will bring detailed required materials and application forms. In addition, they also need to complete several small questions in this part of the material, and the system will look at your answers to generate a list suitable for you. Just prepare the materials according to this list, and you will also receive a visa application form.
3. Make an appointment after completing the online form. You can choose a suitable time to submit your application. Remember, if you don't submit your application on time, your registration and filling will be automatically deleted. So if you want to make an appointment, you must re-register.
4. After making an appointment, prepare the materials according to the system list and hand them in. After the materials are submitted, an application form in PDF format will be generated, and a notification message will be provided.
5. Submit the materials to the corresponding visa center in the Netherlands. Remember to bring the application form and appointment notice, as well as your passport, so that you don't have to wait too long when processing. If you can't arrive, you can ask your agent to hand in the materials for you, but you need to write him a power of attorney with your signature, otherwise the power of attorney will be useless.
6. The materials submitted are from the Netherlands, and people will check whether your materials are complete. If the materials are incomplete, you can fill in the missing documents here, or you can apply directly without adding anything, but it is easy to be refused. If you don't want to submit incomplete materials and can't supplement them for the time being, you can make an appointment again on the website after supplementing.
7. When all the materials are ready, you can pay the required handling fee by cash or credit card.
8. After the Dutch have reviewed all the materials and confirmed that there are no problems, they can get their passports. Generally, you will be notified to collect it. When you get it, you should bring the form and ID card you applied for at that time, so that they can check if it is you and get the visa.
