Instructions for review application:
First of all, the IELTS review application form needs to be downloaded from the IELTS test registration website or the official IELTS Chinese website. The above 6 items are all matters needing attention when applying for reexamination. What needs to be reminded is that the application deadline for reexamination is within 4 weeks (28 days) after the transcript is issued. If it expires, there will be no chance; whether it is to review one item or multiple items The fee is 900 yuan. This is different from the TOEFL test. In fact, IELTS listening and reading are objective questions, and most of the questions you review are speaking and writing. Okay, the key is to fill in the form below.
Filling in the reconsideration form:
1. In the first line, Center name is the name of the test center. Fill in the name of the test center at which test center you took the test. Center number refers to the test center code, which is found on the IELTS score sheet.
2. In the second line, fill in the candidate’s name (required to be bilingual in Chinese and English). You can fill in Chinese Pinyin in English. The candidate number refers to the candidate's test number, which is also found on the transcript.
Let me explain here. The main problem everyone has is that they don’t know what to fill in the Center number and Candidate number. I have made it clear above. If you still don’t know your test room code and your test number, you can contact the IELTS test center directly.
3. In the third line, fill in the phone number (who can be contacted during the day) and email address. Everyone should understand this.
4. In the fourth line, the candidate’s mailing address includes the postal code. It is required to be filled in in Chinese. This is mainly to facilitate the mailing of IELTS score reports in the future.
5. In the fifth line, please circle the reconsideration items. There are four subjects at the back: listening, speaking, reading and writing. Although the fees for reexamination are the same, it is recommended that you do not circle the subjects with high scores.
6. Line 6, candidate’s signature and date of reconsideration application. Let me explain here, this date refers to the date you filled in the application, not the date you took the exam, so don’t get confused!
Finally, that is the part filled in by the examiner, so you don’t need to pay attention to it. In this way, the reconsideration application form is completed. You can mail the transcript and application form to the examination center. Of course, don't forget to mail the reconsideration fee. For insurance purposes, you can call the examination center to confirm 2-3 days after mailing.
