Method for replace hard disk without reloading system
Install the hard disk to be replaced in the chassis. Pay attention to the jumper port, the first hard disk jumper is the master, and the hard disk that needs to be replaced jumps from, enters Ghost, and selects Local-Partition-To Partition. At this time, the interface between the two hard disks appeared. Remember the size of the two hard disks, that is, the 76G hard disk copies the image to the 38G hard disk. The computer's hard disk may be damaged after being used for a long time and needs to be replaced. But because the system is installed in the hard disk, replacing the hard disk means reinstalling the system, so the contents will not be lost, which is very troublesome. Is there any way to replace a new hard disk without reinstalling the system? Here's how to replace the hard disk without reinstalling the system.

Preparatory work:

First, you need to prepare a new hard disk. Bian Xiao used a Seagate 40G hard disk as a new hard disk and handed over the data of 70G old hard disk to Ghost. According to the number of partitions of the old hard disk, the size of each partition only needs to exceed the size of the data stored in the old hard disk.

Operating steps:

1. Install the hard disk to be replaced in the chassis. Pay attention to the jumper port. The first hard disk jumps from the master (master disk), and the hard disk that needs to be replaced jumps from the slave (slave disk). Enter Ghost and select Local-Partition-To Partition;

2. At this time, the interface between the two hard disks appeared. Remember the size of your two hard disks, that is, the 76G hard disk copies the image to the 38G hard disk, and your brain should be awake to avoid misoperation. Here, the first hard disk, that is, the 76G hard disk, is selected as the source image.

3. The picture shows that the 76G hard disk has five partitions, and the fifth partition is a one-button recovery wizard. I haven't uninstalled it for several years, so I don't need to copy it this time. Let's choose the first partition, that is, the 8G disk C;

4. Select and display the following figure. At this time, the second 38G hard disk is selected as the directory mirror disk;

5. Select the first partition of the 38G hard disk as the target partition mirror image;

6. A familiar interface appears. Wait a few minutes.

Finally, set the same steps:

1. After waiting, it will automatically go to the location of the second picture, and then we can copy it to the D, E and F partitions and mirror it to the new hard disk, just like the C drive.

2. After everything is finished, turn off the computer and unplug the IDE cable and power cord of the old hard disk. Jump the new hard disk to Master (main disk), and then turn it on, you will find the same system and the same data, but there is a problem, that is, the software of non-system disk cannot be used;

3. Look at this. It turns out that the drive letters are confused, and D, E and F are displayed as J, H and I. In the management, enter the disk management and modify the drive letter;

4. Restart, the data of the old hard disk will be copied more completely, and all the software will work normally.

The method of replacing the hard disk without reinstalling the system is introduced to you here. Users in need can follow the above steps, hoping to help you.
