Satch has been using peavey’s JSX before. Later, around 2010 (I forgot the specific time, it was when Jian and a few old people started the chicken foot band) I switched to the Marshall brand and used the signature Marshall JVM410HJS.

In fact, Lao Qiao’s classic albums and most of his previous concerts were played by Peavey’s JSX

JSX is also one of my personal favorite speakers. Of course, my favorite is mesa boogie lonestar :)

Finally, I would like to add: Because I use mesa speakers myself but I also like joe. I bought Vox’s

Vox Joe Satriani Sathurator, Joe’s signature effector. This effector is super powerful. Basically any good tube speaker plus this effector will produce the tone of Joe. . . . .
