General information on Mexico visa application
Residing in Beijing, Tianjin, Chongqing, Inner Mongolia, Ningxia, Xinjiang, Tibet, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Shanxi, Hebei, Henan, Shandong, People from Hubei, Guizhou, Yunnan, Sichuan, Shaanxi, Gansu, and Qinghai who want to submit materials to apply for a Mexican visa at the consular office of the Mexican Embassy in Beijing need to first make an interview appointment through the online appointment system Mexitel (Quick Mexitel Guide):
(1) Visa application form, completely and correctly filled in and signed. Download the application form here. The application form must be printed on both sides of the same page.
(2) Original passport or valid travel document and photo and copy of personal information page.
(3) A color photo with a white background and a frontal view without a hat and glasses, the size is: 3.9cm x 3.1cm.
(4) All applicants must agree to have their fingerprints collected and photographed at the consular office of the Mexican Embassy.
(5) Visa interview.
(6) Pay the corresponding visa fees. After the payment is completed, the payment receipt must be returned to the embassy to complete the visa application process. Please refer to the fees here
Non-Chinese passport holders are required to provide the original and copy of a Chinese visa or document proving legal residence in China.
If the applicant is under 18 years old, the visa application form should be submitted by both his parents at the same time. If only one of his parents is accompanying him or no one is accompanying him, he or she is required to give written consent to the applicant's visa application, and the consent must be notarized.

Mexican visa is regarded as a document for foreigners to enter Mexico, but it does not guarantee entry. You need to obtain permission from Mexican immigration officials when entering.
According to the Federal Government’s Public Information Disclosure and Transparency Act, visa application information is confidential and can only be obtained by the visa applicant or the co-sponsor when he or she is legally authorized by the applicant.
