1in April, 945, the US military discovered the infrasound weapon scheme that Germany failed to develop successfully, thus promoting the US research in this field. The United States has conducted many secret experiments, and theoretically proved that vehicle-mounted mobile or individual hand-held infrasound weapons can be made into the form of phased array for flexible use in the battlefield.
In 1960s, NASA conducted many experiments on the effects of intense infrasound on human body, trying to verify how the low-frequency roar of rocket engines affected astronauts. The results show that the low-frequency sound of 0~ 100 Hz and 155 dB can make people's pleural wall vibrate, have difficulty breathing, have a headache, cough and have poor eyesight. Infrasound of 19 Hz can cause eyeball vibration, visual impairment and even hallucinations. In the 1970s, American police may have developed infrasound guns, which made people "rigid" or lose their combat effectiveness. In the early 1980s, De levis developed a sample of infrasound weapon, which consists of a high-energy infrasound generation system, a frequency selection and phase control system, and an acoustic lens system focusing sound waves.
During 1986, during the Somali war, the US military used acoustic weapon test samples. In the 1990s, the US military specially developed a high-power miniature infrasound generator and conducted a battlefield simulation test. 1At the end of 1995, the United States conducted a secret infrasound attack on Bosnian Serb positions. It is said that Serbian soldiers fainted, vomited and fell into chaos within a few seconds. 1998, the United States may begin to develop a hand-held infrasound gun with a range of 200 meters.
