Mrs. Leroy is the only outstanding female winemaker in Burgundy and a pioneer in applying "biodynamic methods" to grape cultivation. Mrs. Leroy, who is now over eighty years old, is known as "the grade of Burgundy" and is still the owner of Domaine Leroy and Domaine d'Auvenay. doorman.

Mrs. Lehua came from a wine family and was born in Paris in the 1930s. The ancestors started wine business in Burgundy in 1868. In 1942, Mrs. Leroy’s father, Henri Leroy, acquired half of the shares of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti (DRC), Burgundy’s first vineyard. In 1974, Mrs. Le Hua served as the director and winemaker of DRC as a family representative, and managed DRC together with Aubert de Villaine. From then on, she began her splendid life in the wine world.

Due to business differences, Mrs. Lehua left the DRC board of directors in 1992, but still retained her equity. . Leaving DRC actually enabled Mrs. Le Hua to have a brilliant wine career in the future. She began to concentrate on developing the Lehua family's wine business and vowed to make the wine quality better than DRC. This is why she was able to try bold planting and brewing ideas that were not allowed in the DRC.

Mrs. Lehua is a firm believer in biodynamics. She uses different herbal recipes for each vine, abides by the laws of the universe, and refuses to use any chemical fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides. She said that biodynamics is a matter of faith. She believed that she could listen to the pain, needs and joy of the vines. For example, after pruning in the spring, she said that she could hear the crying of the vines, and she specially prepared a Herbs with analgesic properties are applied to freshly pruned vines. After years of perseverance, the wish came true.

The high-quality wine produced in the vineyards she invested heavily in and cared for has made Lehua Winery the only famous winery in Burgundy that can rival DRC. Aubert de Villain, the rational and rigorous head of DRC, officially announced in 2008 that Chateau Romanée-Conti had adopted biodynamic methods. His statement that he would take this step was confirmed by the factual results. Nowadays, the biodynamic method advocated by Mrs. Le Hua is being adopted by more and more wineries.

In the 2015 list of the world's 50 most expensive wines released by wine-seacher, the world's most famous London-based wine search website, Larue Bates-Le Mrs. Hua became the big winner, with 14 of the top wines she personally brewed among them! DRC has 6 finalists.
