Love your country and your lover.
1905, Li Guoyi was born in a big family in Hefei, and his father died when he was more than two years old. Her father has been diligent since childhood. 19-year-old, admitted as a scholar in secondary school, and then obtained official fees to study abroad. Her husband died young, and her 25-year-old wife, though highly educated, was not easy to live in a big family. Even Xiao Li Guoyi was described by hearsay as a "father killer". Helpless, my mother returned to her family with Li Guoyi, who had not yet been enlightened.
Li Guoyi, who spent his childhood in Zhou Daying, Xixiang, Hefei, was enlightened at his mother's knees. He entered a private school at the age of 9, but he is very talented and eager to learn. By the time she applied for Hefei Girls' Middle School, she was good at Chinese but had never studied mathematics. She successfully entered the school by self-study and surprise study. A week later, when she came home, her mother asked about her study, but she cried sadly, because other students knew a lot of English and she only knew 26 letters. However, when the tears dried up, she went back to school and worked hard. Three years later, she graduated from junior high school with honors and left Hefei to study in Anqing, then the provincial capital. Before she left, her mother gave her 30 pieces of silver "Yuan Datou" as the travelling expenses, and repeatedly told her that she must report to the normal department, because normal students don't have to pay tuition fees and have living expenses. Li Guoyi reluctantly agreed, though she was ambitious.
It is really a severe test for a person to come to a strange city from home and compete with thousands of candidates. After the exam, someone proudly told her that she got 100 in the math exam, and Li Guoyi was at a loss. While looking at the list, she looked carefully at the end from the middle, but she didn't find her name. She looked back from the beginning and found that her name was impressively listed at the top!
The headmaster of Anqing Girls' Middle School realized that she was an excellent girl, encouraged her to transfer from normal school to ordinary school, and decided that the school would subsidize her to continue her study. After the Northern Expeditionary Army arrived in Anqing, she took an active part in the women's movement. After graduation, she and three classmates went down the river from Anqing, and then took a cargo ship carrying coal to Tianjin. They were "stuffy" in the cargo hold for seven days and seven nights, which almost made people "burn coal". Fate cares for those who have gone through hardships. Li Guoyi was successfully admitted to the Business Department of China University in Beiping with excellent results. At school, I was among the best in all subjects, and I was once known as the "flower of the university" because of my beauty and dignity.
In the late 1920s, the Japanese Kwantung Army stationed in Liaodong Peninsula of China often made trouble without reason and tried to occupy China. Students with the glorious tradition of the May 4th Movement are angry. Li Guoyi and his classmates walked out of the school gate many times and took to the streets to demonstrate and shout the slogan of overthrowing the Japanese invaders. In Japan, Fan Yin, an Anhui Qianshan student studying in Japan, was imprisoned in Tokyo at the beginning of 1929. In prison, he was tortured to death, but he remained indomitable. The news of Fan's imprisonment reached China. At that time, the national government sent a special envoy to Japan to mediate, and various sectors of society helped, eventually forcing the Japanese side to lift the detention. At that time, many students at home and abroad wrote letters of condolence to Fan, and female college students in Beiping were one of them. In her letter, she praised Fan's patriotic feat, expressed her desire to learn from him, and poured out her feelings. Later, Hongyan handed a book and they became lovers. 1930, Fan Yuan returned to China to apply for the position of professor at Beiping Normal University and National University. The following year, he married Li Guoyi, who was still studying at China University. After graduating from Li Guoyi University, she also started a teaching career, aiming to fill the world with peaches and plums.
1937 On the eve of the Japanese occupation of Nanjing, the whole family fled to Chongqing, the capital, and Li Guoyi taught at Chongqing University. 1940, Fan was transferred to the Education Director of Anhui Cadre Training Corps. Soon, Li Guoyi, with three children, dragged his children across the enemy blockade and traveled thousands of miles to Anqing, where he settled down. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, she taught at Anhui University, which is located on the bank of Ling Lake in Anqing, with rich teaching results. She was elected as the representative of the first National Congress on 1948. At the beginning of the following year, after she went to Taiwan Province Province with Fan, she was still a "representative of the National Congress".
Although Ms. Li Guoyi is busy with heavy teaching tasks, she is very strict in educating her nine children, which makes them all successful. Therefore, she was elected as "China Model Mother" in Taiwan Province Province on 1979, and won the "World Model Mother" award in 1993. Mr. Jiang Weiguo calls it "Aunt Fan", which is very respectful. Mr. Chen Lifu once praised the Li Guoyi family as "a model that will be glorious for generations to come."
From 65438 to 0996, Li Guoyi moved to the United States from Taiwan Province Province and lived with his descendants in California and New Jersey. The old people enjoy the family happiness of four generations living under one roof, and the biennial family reunion is even more lively.
Only when you love your country can you love poetry.
As one of the enlighteners of the new ancient poetry movement, Li Guoyi's monographs include My Mother, Family Collection, Life Collection, Smoke Collection, Micro Collection, Inspirational Collection and so on 15 volumes, which are collected by libraries in Chinese mainland, Taiwan Province and other countries in the world. At the 19 World Poets Conference held in Taishan in 2005, centenarian Li Guoyi was awarded the title of "World Poet Laureate" by the Council of the International Poet Laureate Union together with Ji Xianlin and Gao Zhanxiang. The man entered the meeting and caused a sensation. She wrote a poem praising the poet:
Poets came from all corners of the country and gathered together to talk about the Han and Tang Dynasties.
The breeze on Mount Tai is high, so friendship is not as long as it is.
When she visited the Three Gorges, she wrote a poem as a souvenir:
There used to be many beaches, but now they are all flat.
One-on-one, patriotism is in the heart.
Li Guoyi's Collection of Centennial Poets is praised by some people as "the author is a national treasure, and this book is a national treasure. Reading once increases happiness, reading twice increases longevity, and reading more increases more. " Throughout her life, she advocated four dimensions (courtesy, justice, honesty and shame) and eight virtues (loyalty, filial piety, benevolence, faithfulness and harmony). Ms. Chen Xiangmei of the United States wrote an inscription: "Aunt Fan is poetic." Wu Boxiong, Taiwan Province Province, dedicated a poem to "Mother of Chinese Culture".
Talking about the secret of longevity, Li Guoyi replied with a smile: People always ask me this question, but I don't have any secrets. No wonder I was not picky about food at first. I have a poem "Tiles are more precious than golden jade, and garden dishes are more precious". I have a light diet, mainly vegetables, but I don't care about fish or partial eclipse, so I can absorb all kinds of nutrients. Second, do more activities, live a normal life every day and take care of yourself as much as possible. "People should be strong and do everything by themselves. Although few people are in charge, life is not embarrassing." The third heart is cheerful, don't care about small things, be patient, things are a dime a dozen, be open-minded, "indifferent as water, feelings are not broken", "indifferent to the heart, calm to the point." Fourth, make good use of your brain, think more about everything, "read more when you are free, and worry less when you are wide", and you will naturally enjoy it if you can't put it down.
After a century of change, three dynasties of decline and prosperity, vicissitudes came. What the old man feels is only calm and vast sky. She wrote:
Old windows are long and windy in summer, empty mountains and clouds fly.
Several scenes in life, the heart is calm and natural.
For her, everything is a thing of the past.
Li Guoyi believes that family education should start at an early age. She often says to her children, "You are the 28th generation grandson of Fan Zhongyan. You should inherit his patriotism and love for the people. When you grow up, you should make more contributions to the country and the nation! " She wrote a poem: "A child's heart is the most innocent and pure; Careful, early education, your life is spring. She also wrote: "knowledge is the most important thing, and character can't be lost. Without diligence and progress, the boss doesn't have to work." "The eldest son, Guanling Fan, went to the United States to study. When he reported for duty, he had only $25 in his pocket. Not a stingy mother, she wants him to work while studying, saying that working to earn money can not only accumulate tuition fees, but also accumulate life experience, killing two birds with one stone. Guanling Fan remembered his mother's instructions. On the second day after he went to the United States, he went to work in China restaurant in new york, peeling 50 kilograms of frozen chicken every day. Guanling Fan received a doctor's degree in management from Sidon Hall University in new york and a doctor's degree in philosophy from Utah State University, and was elected as an administrative academician and outstanding scholar of the University of California.
Influenced by his mother, Guanling Fan published more than 20 kinds of poems in Chinese and English, such as Transparent Lake, Love Collection and Birds Collection. He has participated in many world cultural conferences and served as the speaker, chairman or chairman of the conference. From 65438 to 0993, he was the president of Taiwan Province Chinese Culture Association.
June 65438+June 654381October+July 2005, Ba Jin died at the age of 101. On behalf of the American-based World Cultural Association and the World Poets' Congress, Guanling Fan has begun to award Mr. Ba Jin the honorary titles of "Writer Laureate" and "Poet Laureate". The award was originally scheduled to be presented on October 29th, 65438/KLOC-0, in recognition of his achievements in the history of China literature and his influence on cross-strait and world literature. Unexpectedly, when I heard the obituary, Guanling Fan recited her new eulogy on behalf of her mother Li Guoyi: "You are one year older than me, and you are a hundred times more talented. Laurel literature is expensive in the world. "
Guanling Fan attended the American World Poetry Congress. As the keynote speaker, he improvised an English long poem My son adapted from the story of the white snake, which made many listeners cry on the spot. After the speech, the audience stood up and lined up to sign for two hours. His poems, books and paintings are unique, and he has published more than 20 Chinese and English poetry and painting collections and poetic oil paintings. James Soong, Chairman of the People First Party, praised Guanling Fan as "a giant in the art world, with excellent poems and paintings, cultural treasures and a world-renowned reputation". Guanling Fan also named English COMPUTER as the new Chinese word "computer" for the first time, so he was called "the father of computers in China".
