Chapter 2 Military Oath
Article 11 Soldiers of the Chinese People's Liberation Army are citizens of the People's Republic of China serving in the Chinese People's Liberation Army.
Article 12: The oath taken by soldiers is their commitment and guarantee to their sacred responsibilities and glorious mission. After joining the army, citizens must take the military oath. The military oath is:
I am a soldier of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, and I swear:
I will obey the leadership of the Communist Party of China, serve the people wholeheartedly, obey orders, strictly observe discipline, and be brave Fight, not be afraid of sacrifice, be loyal to your duty, work hard, practice hard to kill the enemy, resolutely complete the task, and never betray the motherland or the army under any circumstances.
Article 13 Basic requirements for military oaths:
(1) The time for taking the oath shall be after the recruit has passed the political review and physical quarantine review, but no later than the time of enlistment (entry into school) After 90 days.
(2) The military oath is taken as a company (battalion, regiment) unit, and the head of the company (battalion, regiment) presides over a meeting to implement it; in military academies, the cadet team or the head of the school presides over the meeting implementation.
(3) Before a soldier takes the oath, the head of the unit (detachment) shall educate the oath taker on the nature, purpose, mission, and military mission of the Chinese People's Liberation Army.
(4) The oath must be taken solemnly and neatly. The swearing-in ceremony should be held in an educational location as much as possible. When taking the oath as a regiment, a ceremony to welcome the military flag and send the military flag is usually held.
(5) The military oath can be taken in conjunction with the awarding of titles and uniforms.
(6) After the oath is taken, the oath taker shall sign the oath roster of his company. The company leader submits the sworn roster to the unit leader, who signs it and submits it to the headquarters for archiving.
