Arbitration mediation is a legally binding written document made by an arbitration institution according to the mediation agreement reached by the parties voluntarily or with the consent of both parties, which specifies the contents of the mediation agreement reached between the parties. Article 5 1 of the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Mediation and Arbitration of Labor Disputes stipulates that the parties shall perform the legally effective conciliation statement and award within the prescribed time limit.
