The interview mainly assesses the applicant’s basic teacher qualities such as professional cognition, psychological quality, appearance, verbal expression, and thinking quality, as well as basic teaching skills such as teaching design, teaching implementation, and teaching evaluation.
Interview process:
1. Waiting for the exam. Candidates must arrive at the test center on time with their interview admission ticket and ID card, and enter the waiting room to wait for the test.
2. Select questions. According to the arrangement of the test site, log in to the interview assessment system and select a set of test questions from the question bank through the computer (candidates in the kindergarten category can choose one of the two selected questions, and only one test question will be selected for the other categories). After the candidate confirms, the system prints the test questions Checklist (candidates must sign the question list).
3. Prepare lessons. Candidates enter the lesson preparation room with the lesson paper and test question list, write a lesson plan (or activity demonstration plan), and prepare for the lesson for 20 minutes.
4. Answer the prescribed questions. Candidates will be guided into the designated interview room by staff. Candidates submit their ID cards and admission tickets to the examiner for verification. After verification, the examiner randomly selects 2 prescribed questions from the question bank, and the examinee takes 5 minutes to answer.
5. Trial lecture/demonstration. Candidates will conduct a trial lecture (or demonstration) according to the prepared lesson plan (or activity demonstration plan) for 10 minutes.
6. Defense. The examiner will ask questions based on the content of the candidate's trial lecture (or demonstration) and test items, and the candidate will answer the question for 5 minutes.
7. After the exam, after the candidates hand in the test question list and lesson preparation plan (activity demonstration plan), the examiner returns the candidate’s ID card and admission ticket, issues a release slip, and the candidate leaves.
8. Rating. The examiner will comprehensively score the candidate's interview performance based on the scoring standards, fill out the "Interview Rating Form", sign and confirm it with the team leader, and submit the score through the interview evaluation system.
