Interviewee: Karry.
A few days ago, the reporter had a relaxed conversation with Karry, and Xiao Kai revealed some interesting things behind the scenes. Although Xiao Kai is very popular on the stage on weekdays, as this is his first performance in front of the focus plane, he admits that he is under great pressure and nervous. Once he directly called "gluttony" a "monster", which made everyone laugh together. Isn't it a little cute?
He also shared his performance experience-to explore the identity and psychology of the role, and be careful not to show the tone and movements that are inconsistent with the role. Well, young man, you are already very insightful!
Karry said that through this experience, he found himself very interested in performing and hoped that he could develop in all directions in the future. A while ago, Director Zhang Yimou publicly praised Karry many times, praising him for his intelligence and talent, and even directly said that "you can eat this bowl of rice (actors)" and suggested that he apply for the performance department of the university. In this regard, Karry's answer is that he will consider it, and he already has a target school. Thinking of Xiao Kai's busy publicity period until two o'clock in the morning recently, he still insisted on taking time to recite words for reference. Xiao Lang wants to say come on!
Asked if he would share this experience with the other two good brothers of TFBOYS, Xiao Kai smiled mischievously: "At this stage, boys prefer to talk about some interesting things!" He also said that if there is an opportunity, the three children will "fit" again and present more TV dramas for everyone.
Reporter: I'm still curious. How did you first get involved in such a big movie as The Great Wall?
Karry: I heard that Zhang had invited me before, so I met with Zhang's studio. Director Zhang told me this story, which I found particularly attractive. Children are particularly interested in fighting monsters, and then I went to see some background of the little emperor. The second time, director Zhang asked a teacher to audition for me and asked me to perform various situations, so I came over.
Reporter: Do you remember the specific process of the audition?
Karry: He told me to show my fear first, saying what's here and what's there, so that I could get involved in this situation. Then, acting, it evolved.
Reporter: Zhang Dao was once famous for guiding new actors. Does he have any tips when directing your performance?
Karry: I think the director is a very kind person. At the beginning of the set, I thought the director had made so many blockbusters, so many literary films and so many good films. He must be a very strict director. I didn't expect the director to be particularly kind on the set. He is a very kind person, and he will let me relax on the set. He also knew that it was my first time acting, so he adjusted my mind and taught me how to interpret this role, so that I could only perform what the director explained.
Reporter: Does NG have many times?
Karry: Haha ... Not bad.
Reporter: What is "OK"?
Karry: On one occasion, NG, who was particularly impressed, was a New Year greeting from Teacher Andy Lau and Sister Jing Tian below. Then my lines should be "a thousand gluttons" and so on, but I called them "monsters". I didn't even laugh at that time, but I was laughing after I cut it.

Reporter: You played the little emperor, the statue of the Ninth Five-Year Plan, and the officials under the stage may all be big stars. Is it stressful?
Karry: I'm under a lot of pressure. I'm afraid I may be too nervous and delay the filming progress. Because the audience are all seniors, I am very nervous.
Reporter: Do you forget words when you are nervous?
Karry: Yes. ...
Reporter: Do you practice your lines in front of the mirror in your room before you go to the set?
Karry: No, I got familiar with the script in the hotel after I got it. I actually didn't dare to practice in front of the mirror that day. I dare not do anything. I just keep reciting my lines. Much better now. I was afraid to play in front of familiar people before.
Reporter: Is it difficult to recite lines or lyrics?
Karry: The lines are hard to memorize!
Reporter: Then how did you recite your lines?
Karry: The line is to think about what this person will say, why he will say it, and then how he will interpret this sentence with his personality. Because I played the emperor, what he said must not be particularly childish. In fact, it is a kind of calm words to teach his ministers a lesson. Just recite it when you recite it. You don't have to dig word for word, just read his feelings.
Reporter: The director doesn't require every word to be accurate?
Karry: Some important people will ask for it.
Reporter: You used to be cool on MV and stage, especially handsome for the camera. Now we face the focal plane. Do you have any habits to change?
Karry: Yes, because singing is about singing your own style, so the performance will be different. You have to observe a lot of things. You need to know what the role is like and whether you can make these moves. If you do something that this role can't do, it's strange, I think.
Reporter: It's my first time to take the lead, and it's such a big production. You think, "Huh?" I seem to like acting. "
Karry: A little. I thought the first performance was quite interesting. Therefore, singing performance is likely to continue to develop in all directions in the future.
Reporter: Director Zhang also praised you for your acting talent. Why would he say that?
Karry: Actually, I was surprised, too, because it was my first time acting and the director praised me. I am very happy.
Karry
Reporter: Director Zhang also suggested that you go to the performance department. Do you have this plan yourself?
Karry: I'll think about it. I will think about it. Are you majoring in acting? ) I will consider it.
Reporter: What about the school? Do you have a goal?
Karry: We have a target. (can't disclose it now? ) right ...
Reporter: I participated in such a big work this time. Have you shared your experiences with your two good brothers?
Karry: A little, but boys of this age prefer to talk about interesting things.
Reporter: Are you going to play a TV series or a movie together next?
Karry: If there is an opportunity, I will do it, because it is interesting for three people to get to know each other.
