Application materials
Before making an online appointment, please prepare the following information and fill it in truthfully. If a column is not applicable, please fill in "None" and cannot leave it blank.
1. Personal information: name, date of birth, domestic and international residential addresses, contact information, occupation and name of current work or study unit, emergency contact name and contact information; personal email address to receive appointment information .
2. Document information held by me: original passport type, passport number, place of issuance, date of issuance, validity period, valid foreign visa held and related information, whether to become a foreign national and the time of naturalization, whether to hold a foreign passport and related information.
3. Family information: name, address and contact information of spouse and parents.
4. Electronic and paper photos, the file size is between 30K-80K, specific requirements:
(1) Frontal, no-hat color small 2-inch passport photo (specific size: outer Profile 48×33 mm, head width 21-24 mm, head length 28-33 mm);
(2) The background of the photo must be white, please wear dark clothes to avoid confusion with the background;
(3) A recent photo of the applicant within six months;
(4) Examples of common unqualified photos: head size does not meet requirements; background color does not meet requirements; avatar is not centered; face or Glasses reflect light; hair obscures facial features; photos have shadows; photos are bound with paper clips or staples; over or under exposure; clothes are too light in color.
The appointment system will check the photos. Please bring 3 paper photos that are the same as the electronic photos when applying.
Process
If your Singapore passport is valid for less than 6 months, renew and apply for a new passport as soon as possible to avoid delaying future travel.
1. Preparation materials
(1) Two recent 2-inch full-face color photos without hats.
(2) ID card (or temporary resident ID card), household registration book. If it is a collective household registration, you need to submit the "Permanent Resident Registration Form".
(3) Students who are studying in military academies without military status must also submit a certificate of non-military status issued by the institution where they are located. ,
(4) Soldiers must bring their military officer ID card (or retirement certificate) and the original copy of the army’s “Approval Form for Persons Going Abroad (Border) for Private Matters”. The army they belong to must submit the “Approval Form for Chinese Citizens Going Abroad for Private Matters” Opinions must be submitted and stamped, and the person in charge must sign and confirm.
(5) Personnel with opinions from the unit must be presented. Any registered state employee who applies for a private passport must have his or her unit issue an opinion on the Approval Form for Application for Chinese Citizens to Travel Abroad for Private Purposes, with the person in charge signing and stamping the official seal.
2. Fill in the application form
Take the above materials to the Exit and Entry Administration Office of the Public Security Bureau in the place where you are registered to fill out the "Approval Form for Application for Chinese Citizens to Go Abroad for Private Purposes", copy the relevant certification materials, and take photos Photography (must wear dark clothing).

3. Submit the application
Submit the completed application form with photos and required materials to the acceptance window. After the staff has completed the review, receive the "Personal Travel Abroad for Private Purposes" ( (Reply Receipt for Border) Document Application, check the contents of the receipt and sign after confirming it is correct.
4. Payment
After submitting the application, the applicant must immediately pay the fee at the toll office with the "Application Receipt for Private Travel Document"
(Applicants must pay the fee on the day of acceptance. If the fee is not paid within the time limit, the date for collecting the certificate will be notified separately. If the fee is not paid within one month after application, the application will be deemed to have been automatically abandoned, and the application materials will not be returned to the applicant).
5. Collect the passport
(1) Collect it in person: The applicant must follow the date of collection or entry-exit management indicated on the "Private Travel Document Application Reply" Collect certificates on time on the date of collection notified by the department. On the day of collecting the certificate, the applicant shall go to the entry-exit reception hall where the application is accepted to collect the certificate with the "Application Receipt for Documents for Private Travel Abroad" and the payment receipt, as well as the resident ID card or household registration book. After receiving the certificate, please carefully check the content of the certificate and correct any errors in time.
(2) Someone else collects the passport on your behalf: The person who collects the passport will bring the "Application Receipt for Private Travel Documents", his or her ID card, and a copy of the passport applicant's ID card to the Exit-Entry Administration Office to collect the passport.
(3) Door-to-door express delivery: If you want to choose door-to-door express delivery, you must go to the postal express counter in the Exit-Entry Administration Office with the "Application Receipt for Private Travel Documents" on the day of applying for your passport and pay the fee. Express fee. The scope of express delivery is subject to the regulations of the local immigration administration office.
6. Signature confirmation: Before applying for a visa, please sign your name in the holder’s signature column on the last page of your passport with a black signature pen.

What to do if your passport is lost while studying in New Zealand
1. Contact the consulate as soon as possible and bring copies of your passport and visa. At the Chinese Embassy and Consulates, it takes two to three months to apply for a loss report.
