If not, try to close UAC.
Method 1:
1. Click "Start >; Run ",enter MSCONFIG to open the system configuration utility.
2. Select the Tools tab, scroll down to find "Disable UAP" (this happens in Windows Vista Beta 2 at present, but I don't know if it will still exist in the future beta and official version), and select this line.
3. Click the "Start" button.
4. A CMD window will open, and then close it.
5. Exit MSCONFIG and restart the system.
If you want to restart the UAC function, just select the "Enable UAP" line and do the same operation once.
Method 2: 1. Open the registry editor RegEdit.
2. Find the following key in the registry:
HKEY _ LOCAL _ MACHINE \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ current version \ Policies \ System
3. Change the value of the registry key named EnableLUA to 0.
4. Close the Registry Editor and restart the system to apply the changes.
If you need to restart the UAC function, just change the value to "1".
Method 3:
To turn off UAC, you can also set the corresponding group policy.
If your Windows Vista system is not connected to the local network based on Active Directory, you can use the Group Policy Editor as follows:
Start) > run > gpedit.msc
If your Windows Vista system is connected to the local network based on Active Directory, you need to use the Group Policy Management Console as follows:
Start) > run > gpmc.msc
In the Group Policy Management Console window, find the domain or OU to which the Windows Vista system belongs and edit its properties.
Open computer configuration > Windows settings & gt security settings & gt local policies & gt security options.
Find the user access control policies in the right panel, and you need to set the following policies.
Of course, after the modification is completed, you need to restart the system to apply the changes.
Method 4:
1. Open the control panel.
2. Click Add or Remove User Accounts in User Accounts and Family Settings.
3. Select a user account, such as Guest.
4. In the user account's property page, click the "Go to main user account page" link.
5. On the Change Your User Account page, click the Change Security Settings link to change the security settings.
6. On the page "Turn on User Account Control (UAC) to make your computer more secure", delete the option "Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer" and press the "OK" button.
7. Similarly, you need to restart the system.
To restart the UAC function, do the same procedure, select the item "Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer" and restart the system.
