Speaking of Yang Zhifa's story, we have to start with 1974.
1974 is not a good year. Drought arrival in the northwest, the river water level gradually fell. The village has to choose to drill more deep wells to ensure daily water use. Yang Zhifa is a member of the village well drilling team. It is said that it is a drilling team. In fact, it has no experience. A bunch of farmers who usually go to the fields, just find a piece of land to draw a circle, and then dig.
There are many relics underground in Shaanxi, which the local people have heard about, and no one takes seriously, until they suddenly find that the soil layer is hardened and seems to have been dug into a brick kiln! Yes, at first, none of them thought of cultural relics, thinking they were brick kilns.
No matter what you dig, you can survive. Why not dig a well for a brick kiln? So the villagers continued to dig with hoes. What did they dig up this time? A "Waye" head. What do you mean, Waye? In ancient times, those clay sculptures were called Waye, and they were usually placed in houses or temples in towns.
You don't have to worry about digging into the brick kiln, but you can't ignore it when you dig into the tile! People in the village believed these things more or less, and soon became discouraged. Although it is very important to dig water to save lives, they are afraid that there is a temple below, so they disturb the "immortals". As it was getting late, they decided to go home and have a rest first.
Although Yang Zhifa was also afraid, he always thought this tile was unusual, so he simply took it home at night and wanted to study it again. Just then, Fang Shumin, a plumber in Lintong County, came here to inspect the water resources. Yang Zhifa thinks that Fang Shumin is a "cultural man", so it should be no problem to ask him.
Usually, the plumber knows nothing about cultural relics, but as it happens, Fang Shumin has a friend of the Cultural Bureau. Fang Shumin doesn't understand the doorway of this tile head, but this doesn't prevent him from having the same intuition as Yang Zhifa: "This tile head is definitely unusual." To this end, I simply took Grandpa Wa's head and went to the County Cultural Relics Bureau.
Professionals know directly whether there is one. They followed Fang Shumin to the place where the well was dug, and immediately found that it was absolutely unusual. They threw away all these clay figurines and told the villagers that they couldn't dig any more wells. After that, everyone must know that the world-famous Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses have been in this world since then.
In order to reward the villagers who dug up the terracotta warriors and horses, they were given 5 cm each, which was almost 1.3 points at that time. Although it is not much, it is also an encouragement. Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses are the pride of our nation, but they are a trouble to xiyang village. Why? Because the villagers in Xiyang have to accommodate the excavation and protection of terracotta warriors and horses and move out of their hometown!
Since then, Yang Zhifa has become a sinner in the village. Everyone thinks that he sold his ancestors for 30 yuan. After the relocation, Yang Zhifa did not live with everyone, so he found a remote corner and lived alone. He was ostracized for more than 20 years.
More than 20 years later, when Clinton visited China, Yang Zhifa, who was named to meet or even sign, finally didn't have to go through the bad days before.
