Annual tickets of American national parks usually have two signature spaces on the back of the card. Usually, the signature of the first applicant is the main card holder. The second signature is always left blank, because it can be left to the family.

National park staff will ask you to check the annual ticket card when you enter the national park. They rarely ask you what your relationship is with the first signer or host card. Sometimes when you enter a national park, they don't check it at all. If it is second-hand, make sure that the name of the main cardholder and the name of the user are not too different. Because the staff of national parks generally ask to check their passports and names at the same time, the annual card may not be used.
