Basic introduction of Qiqihar Peace Square
Qiqihar Peace Square is a famous tourist attraction in Qiqihar.

1937 1 1 In Qin 'an, General Ma Zhanshan led and commanded the famous Jiangqiao Anti-Japanese War, and fired the first shot of China people's armed resistance against Japan, which wrote a glorious page in the history of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression in China and the world anti-fascist history, and a glorious chapter for the heroic city of Qiqihar.

To commemorate the 60th anniversary of the victory of China people's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, the Qiqihar Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government gathered the wisdom of all parties and built a commemorative Peace Square. The handprints of 600 surviving anti-Japanese war veterans collected by the anti-Japanese war film crew of CCTV were embedded in the anti-Japanese war memorial wall of Peace Square, and a large-scale memorial sculpture with the theme of Jiangqiao Anti-Japanese War was built, which provided a patriotic education base for China and the people of the world to commemorate the victory of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the world anti-fascist war.

Peace Square is located on the bank of the Nenjiang River in Qiqihar, at the western end of Zhonghua Road, with a planned area of 4 1.400 square meters. The main body of the square consists of the Anti-Japanese War Memorial Wall, the Victory Monument and the Jiangqiao Anti-Japanese War Memorial Sculpture. The paving of the square is mainly made of stone, combined with a large area of pebble ground, creating a solemn atmosphere. In summer, water can be injected into the pebble pool to form a pool named Water of Peace. The shape of the pool is an abstraction of Japanese invaders' occupation of China. More than 20 million pebbles in the pool symbolize more than 20 million China soldiers and civilians stranded in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression. In the middle is a big stone engraved with the tragic historical events made by the Japanese invaders. Around the square, green spaces and a small number of lawns, trees and shrubs are regularly arranged for tourists to rest and stay.

Entering the square, the 220-meter-long anti-Japanese war memorial wall is arranged from low to high. The Anti-Japanese War Memorial Wall is an idea initiated by CCTV's Anti-Japanese War film crew. As early as two years ago, when CCTV was preparing to shoot the large-scale documentary "Anti-Japanese War", it was ready to embed the handprints of some veterans who had participated in the Anti-Japanese War into the anti-Japanese War wall, leaving a historical witness. At the end of May this year, CCTV completed the fingerprint collection in nearly two years. The collection covers 25 provinces and cities in China and many overseas countries and regions, including Japanese anti-Japanese allies, former Soviet Red Army soldiers, Korean nationals who participated in the anti-Japanese war in China and members of the American Flying Tigers. Qiqihar, as the place where the first shot was fired in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, was recognized by CCTV in many cities applying for construction in China, and the Anti-Japanese War Memorial Wall finally settled in our city. After hearing the news, Beijing Juyongguan Great Wall Management Committee also presented 60 ancient Great Wall bricks collected by the people to Peace Square. The overall appearance design of the handprint wall, one of the anti-Japanese war memorial walls, is modern abstract geometric modeling, which adopts the form of intersecting plane subjects and combines static and dynamic, with a length of 42 meters and a height of 5.2 meters. The front design is bronze city brick, inlaid with handprints and signatures of 600 living people who participated in China's anti-Japanese war at home and abroad. 60 ancient Great Wall bricks are embedded in it, symbolizing the victory of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the great victory of the whole nation. The theme relief is another part of the Anti-Japanese War Memorial Wall. It is divided into five parts: exile, slavery, slaughter, struggle and victory, which vividly reproduces the arduous course of victory in the Anti-Japanese War from September 193 1 8 to June, 5438+0945.

The Victory Monument in Peace Square is 37 meters high, symbolizing the full-scale outbreak of 1937 in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, China. The overall modeling means turning swords into plows, symbolizing that peace and development are irreversible historical trends in today's world. The monument tower consists of two overlapping towers, symbolizing the confrontation between justice and evil. The high tower symbolizes the final victory of the just people of China, War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, while the low tower symbolizes the shameful failure of the Japanese invaders in the form of oblique broken lines. The four pedestals of the Victory Monument form a broken flag of the Japanese invaders, which means that China and War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression ended in the defeat of Japanese imperialism.

Jiangqiao Anti-Japanese War Memorial Sculpture consists of three parts: anti-Japanese artillery fire, firing the first shot and fighting bloody battles. The Fire of Anti-Japanese War shows the atrocities of the Japanese invaders who burned, killed and looted, which aroused the strong indignation and hatred of the soldiers and civilians in China, planted the fire of hatred and resistance in Longjiang, and was full of the spirit of resisting foreign aggression. The commander of "Firing the First Shot" riding a horse and wielding a gun among a group of sculptures is General Ma Zhanshan, a patriotic general during the Anti-Japanese War. The group carvings are engraved with the words "Give me back my rivers and mountains" inscribed by General Ma Zhanshan. The figures in the sculpture "A Bloody Battle" prance, shoot with guns and kill with knives. The characters not only reflect the cruelty and ferocity of Jiangqiao battle during the Anti-Japanese War, but also fully demonstrate the tragic heroism of China's anti-Japanese troops who fought bravely and died.
