First, the art of micro-carving, very few employees!
Carving on cow hair is also a kind of micro-carving art. The hero of the story is a young man named Lu1born after 985. After graduating from junior high school, he went to Beijing to study. In the process of learning, many people persist for a year or two and then give up, because the micro sculpture is very tired, meticulous, patient and determined. When Lu talked about this, he couldn't help thinking of the monks who fasted and recited Buddha. Many people who have just entered the temple can easily eat fast and read Buddha for a day or two, but how many people can persist after years of eating fast and reading Buddha? I think this micro-sculpture has extremely high requirements for employees, so there are very few employees in micro-sculpture art at present, and there are about 100 people in the country. Lu Pingping not only received some micro-carving orders, but also constantly challenged his micro-carving technology.
Second, what kind of tools can be carved on cow hair?
Lu has a set of carving knives, all of which he grinds himself. According to his own introduction, the thinnest meat cleaver can blow the tip off in one breath. Of course, we can't see this level of detail in our daily life. We can only imagine with our own heads. It's amazing that there is such a knife in real life. Sometimes I sew things with a needle, and when I am distracted, I will accidentally stab myself. I absolutely admire people who can carve works of art with such a thin carving knife.
3. Do you need a magnifying glass for lettering?
When Lu faces the camera and engraves on the spot, he can feel his inner peace and tranquility through the screen. He has never carved with any magnifying glass. In his view, this is a blind engraving, all by feeling, because you can't see it at all.
Therefore, engraving on cow hair can't be done overnight. During this period, Lu's hard work was only known to himself.
