1. Open or create a new word document. Click the file menu in the toolbar in the upper left corner and find the word options menu in the drop-down menu.

2. Click the word option. In the word options dialog box that pops up, locate and click the Trust Center in the sidebar on the left.

3. In the "New" dialog box options, find the "Trust Center Settings" option in the lower right corner and click it.

4. In the new dialog box, find the macro setting dialog box on the left and click it.

5. As you can see, the option "Disable all macros and send notifications" is currently selected, so you will get an error every time you open and close it. Here, you can select the other three options and click OK. When you open the word document again, you won't be prompted again.
