Huang Dapeng (1908-1931), nicknamed Wanxian, was born in Songjiaya, Xiqiuwan, Badong, Hubei Province; joined the Communist Party of China in 1926 while studying at the Third Normal School of Hubei Province; in 1928 In March, he participated in the leadership of the peasant uprising in the Badong area of ??western Hubei, organized the Red Army guerrillas, carried out guerrilla warfare, and participated in the creation of the Badong Xingshan Zigui revolutionary base.

Since 1930, he served as a member of the Basinggui County Committee of the Communist Party of China, political commissar and division commander of the 49th Division of the Chinese Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Army, and commander of the Second Teaching Division of the Third Army; later he served in Ertangya, Badong He died in battle. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, his remains were buried in the Badong County Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery.
