Letter to Sima Guang: model essay 1

Mr. Sima Guang:

Hello!

Lonely night, looking up at the starry sky, the deep and shallow stars are shining with peerless brilliance, which reminds me of you involuntarily. You work so hard, you are so serious, and you love studying and reading so much. I admire you. I should learn from your good habit of studying hard when you were a child.

? An inch of time is an inch of gold, but a thousand dollars can't buy an inch of time? You cherish your precious time to study until everyone else goes to play, but you study again and again in the silent classroom until you fully understand it.

We learned a text about you. You are a famous historian in the Northern Song Dynasty. Did you make one when you grew up? Police pillow? After 19, you compiled the famous historical masterpiece Zi Tongzhi Jian. ? Can diligence make up for it? This is good training. After reading this lesson, I learned to cherish every minute. Only by working hard can I become a talent. I think you spend all other people's coffee time studying, that is:? Where is the genius? I use other people's coffee time at work. .

You let me know that the bridge to the ideal realm is diligence, and everyone's success is watered by their own efforts and sweat. Your talents are all earned by your hard work. Only by working hard for a lifetime can we make a difference and make due contributions to the people and society. If you are still alive, I am a big fan of yours, and I will send the letter to heaven.

I am here to convey

Salute!

Your loyal fan: An Yunan

Letter to Sima Guang, model essay 2

Brother Sima:

Hello!

I am a child of 2 1 century. I am in grade five of Ningbo Shuguang Primary School. My name is Zhang Xiaoyu. I am writing to you to express my sincere admiration for you.

I understand that you are a great politician, writer and historian. Your masterpiece "Purple Tongzhi Sword" handed down from ancient times embodies your 19 years of hard work! The historical boundaries recorded in the book began in 403 BC with the reign of King Wei Lie and ended in 959 AD with the reign of Xiande. Starting from the relationship between politics, military affairs and nationalities, this paper comprehensively summarizes the ruling experiences and lessons of previous dynasties before the Northern Song Dynasty. There are wise monarchs, bad monarchs, outspoken ministers and corrupt officials in the book. Do you know that?/You know what? Your book has almost become a must-read for emperors and ordinary literati. Mao Zedong, the first generation leader of New China, actually read 17 times in his life! The Encyclopedia Britannica, recognized as the most authoritative encyclopedia in the world, lists its entries. I like it too. The collector's edition of juvenile tongjian is my pillow book.

In fact, I first got to know your predecessor Sima, not because of your masterpiece, but because of the story of you smashing a jar to save your friend when you were 7 years old. You have been witty and calm since you were a child. When you pick up a stone and throw it at the water tank, you are destined to be an extraordinary person, and your story has also been included in our first-grade Chinese textbook.

You have been simple and practical all your life. Because of your upbringing, you have always insisted on being honest. Pedantic? . The story of an honest man about you has been passed down to this day. Your horse because of your honesty? This horse gets lung disease every summer and can't stop breathing. ? I never got rid of it and raised it to death.

Senior, you may not know that China has changed a lot in 2 1 century, and there are few water tanks, all of which use tap water. We still have a lot here? Monster? : cars, televisions, computers, mobile phones, etc. But I think there are some things that cannot be changed, and that is the beautiful spirit you left us. Although we are also learning honesty, I feel that sometimes the temptation of money is a little big, and poisonous food incidents occur frequently. I really hope you can cross over to modern times and educate those who are mercenary. I am also here to assure you that I will be an honest and trustworthy child!

wish you

Forever lasting

Brief introduction of Sima guang's characters

Sima Guang's distant ancestor can be traced back to Sima Fu, the royal family of the Western Jin Dynasty. Originally from Hanoi (now Qinyang, Henan). Sima Guang's father, Sima Chi, used to be a doctor in the Ministry of War, a servant in Tianzhangge (affiliated to Hanlin College) and an adviser to the emperor in the library. He has always enjoyed a high reputation for his honesty and kindness.

When Song Renzong was studying, he entered Longtuge with a bachelor's degree. In Song Shenzong, Wang Anshi carried out political reform, which was opposed by many people inside and outside the imperial court. Sima Guang is one of them. After Wang Anshi's political reform, Sima Guang left the imperial court for fifteen years, and devoted himself to compiling "Lessons Learned from Mutual Learning", working hard and tirelessly. In his own words: There is insufficient electricity during the day, followed by at night. ?

At the end of the year, Song Renzong worked as a teacher in Tianzhangge, determined to compile Tongzhi as a reference for feudal rule. In the third year of Zhiping (1066), it was written into eight volumes from the Warring States to the Qin Dynasty, and Yingzong ordered a bureau to continue it. Zong Shen gave it the name "Purple Tongzhi Sword". When Wang Anshi adopted the New Deal, he strongly opposed it and argued with Anshi in front of the emperor, emphasizing that the laws of his ancestors could not be changed. He was appointed as the deputy special envoy of the Committee, but he refused to resign. The following year, he retired to Luoyang and continued to compile Tong Jian, which was completed in the seventh year of Yuanfeng (1084). From the beginning to the last edition, he wrote it himself. In the eighth year of Yuanfeng, Song Zhezong acceded to the throne. Empress Dowager Gao listened to politics and called her into Beijing to preside over state affairs. The following year, he served as a servant of Shangshu and preached. A few months later, he abolished the new law and deposed the new party In order to die for eight months, Wen Guogong was hunted down. His posthumous works include Sima, Lu and many other famous works.

Sima Guang's Classics and Allusions

First, Sima Guang smashed the cylinder.

Sima Guang, whose name is Junshi, was born in Sushui Village, Xiaxian County, Shaanxi Province (now Xiaxian County, Shanxi Province) in the Northern Song Dynasty, and was known as Mr. Sushui in the world. Sima Guang was born in November of the third year of Tianxi in Song Zhenzong (A.D. 10 19). At that time, his father Sima Chi was the magistrate of Guangshan County in Gwangju, so he was named "Guang". Sima Guang's family has been an official for generations, and his father Sima Chi later became an official in the Ministry of War, a doctor in the Ministry of War and a servant in Tianzhangge. He has always enjoyed a good reputation for his honesty and kindness. Influenced by his father, Sima Guang was smart and studious since childhood. According to historical records, Sima Guang likes reading Zuo Zhuan very much, and often "never stops reading books, never knowing hunger and thirst." At the age of seven, he was able to recite Zuo Zhuan skillfully, and he could clearly tell the historical outline of more than 200 years, indicating that he had a very strong interest in history since he was a child.

Second, fame and fortune get early.

In the early years of Baoyuan in Song Renzong, Sima Guang, who was only 20 years old, won the first place in the Jinshi examination and succeeded early. However, he was not complacent, but boldly put forward: "When a saint is alive, he must do righteousness and show others with virtue, instead of promoting evil with fame." This sentence reflects that young Sima Guang does not seek fame, but is determined to make contributions with benevolence and become a saint. Since then, he has been working hard in this direction.

Sima Guang has always been simple and thrifty, and doesn't like extravagant and flashy things. After entering the Jinshi examination, the emperor gave a wedding banquet, and he was the only one who didn't wear red flowers at the banquet. His companion said to him, "this is a gift from the holy family. You can't go against your orders." Only then did he insert a flower. In his later years, this matter was written into family instructions by Sima Guang, and his son Sima Kang was educated to pay attention to thrift. In addition, Sima Guang is especially filial to his parents. When he was appointed Feng, his father was an official in Hangzhou, so he asked for a new judge in Suzhou so that he could be closer to his father and support his parents.
