The old place names in Beijing are ugly. There are many names called "graves" just for place names.

A long time ago, many rich and powerful people in Beijing liked to call the place controlled by their families "graves" to show their wealth. Such as Baijia powder or Lijia powder. Due to poor governance, there are also many graves in Beijing. On the eve of national liberation from 65438 to 0949, the mass graves in Beijing were managed. President Mao Zedong and other national leaders took the lead in signing the cremation, and the original tombs were swept away, leaving only some place names, such as the Princess Tomb, the Eight Kings Tomb and the British Tomb, to record this period of history.

We only know the name of the princess's tomb now. Real graves have been razed to the ground, and roads or buildings have been built. In fact, some place names named after graves were gradually forgotten and replaced by new place names after the graves were cleared and leveled. For example, there is a Confucius tomb outside Fuchengmen. King Kong, named Kong Youde, was a participant in the late Ming Dynasty. After the Qing army entered Shanhaiguan, Kong Youde led the army to the Qing Dynasty in Shandong, and was named King of Admiration. Later, he entered Beijing with Dourgen, changed his country name to Nanwang, and became a member of the Han army. Later, with the Qing army captured Guangxi, guarding Guilin. Guilin City was captured by Li Dingguo, an old man of the Ming Dynasty, and Kong Youde hanged himself. The emperor shunzhi felt his loyalty and built a big cemetery for him in Beijing. In fact, Kong Youde's body was burned by Li Dingguo, and the emperor shunzhi just put his remains Yu Pei in the coffin. Because of the large scale of the cemetery, the land occupied by residents in this area at that time was called Confucius Tomb. Gongzhufen is in the northwest of this grave. Nowadays, few people know the place name of Kongwangfen. But the place name of the princess's tomb has been preserved.

Gongzhufen used to be the West Garden of Kongwangfen, and the princess buried here is Kong Youde's daughter Kong Sizhen. When Kong Youde was surrounded by Li Dingguo in Guilin, Kong Sizhen escaped from Guilin and returned to Beijing. The emperor shunzhi's mother pitied the young orphan, regarded her as her daughter and raised her in the palace. Later, Kong Sizhen was named Princess Heshuo and married a minister to extend her age. In the tenth year of Shunzhi, because Kong Youde had no children, the emperor appointed Kong Sizhen as the South King, inherited his father's title and managed military affairs in Guangxi. During the reign of Emperor Kangxi, Wu Sangui proclaimed himself emperor in Yunnan, rebelled against the Qing Dynasty over age, but failed to observe the four virtues and led a crusade. Later, Wu Sangui was destroyed and Yanling died. The emperor felt that Sizhen was widowed and lonely and recalled her to Beijing. Kong Sizhen died at the age of 97. It was a long life. Perhaps it is because Kong Sizhen's life story has been circulated among the people for a longer time than her father's, so the princess's grave has long been leveled, but the place name still remains.

The story of Princess Pearl is based on the anecdote of Kong Sizhen. Because of the popularity of this TV series, the popularity of Gongzhufen has also increased.
