Plants are usually watered only when they are dry, that is, when the soil looks dry, or when the plants look dull and the leaves are slightly soft or curly.
Watering plants less doesn't mean that you water them less every time. It's the worst to water them halfway. Don't often pour the rest of the water in, which is similar to giving up halfway.
Less watering means less watering, but it should be watered thoroughly every time until the water flows out from the bottom of the basin, preferably by dumping it, so that the soil can breathe and the roots can breathe.
