The China University Women’s Football League is jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Education, China University Sports Association and the Chinese Football Association. Reserve Talent is the second largest women’s football competition after the National Women’s Football League. Many participating teams are actually composed of retired or active professional players or sports students, or even entire professional teams. Therefore, starting from the 2007 China University Women's Football Championship at the latest, Group A and Group B (professional group) ), professional players can only participate in Group B. It was originally the women's team of the China University Women's Football League and was initially sponsored by Philips China Electronics Group. The first two sessions were called "Philips China University Women's Football League", and the third session was renamed "China University Women's Football Championship". In 2009, it was changed again. Back to "2009-2010 China University Women's Football League", it was changed back to "2010 China University Women's Football Championship" in 2010.
