Reflections on the relationship between fonts and people

Calligraphy is a profound aesthetics and a manifestation of personal cultural personality. She has been shining for thousands of years and is still full of vitality. China's calligraphy art is mainly pen and ink calligraphy in ancient times (before the May 4th Movement), and its existence has a wide range of objective conditions and social atmosphere that are difficult to have today. Today's calligraphy art mainly refers to hard pen (pen) calligraphy, which directly inherits the essence from China's ancient calligraphy and makes new changes and reasonable development.

As the saying goes, "words are like people." This sentence means that a person's handwriting is inevitably related to his living habits and personality characteristics. Font is the carrier of personal life image. In daily life, each of us does write differently. Modern forensic medicine regards handwriting analysis as one of the important means of criminal psychology research, which also illustrates this point.

Through observation and thinking, I find that we can find some rules from the size, strength, speed, structure and movement track of handwriting to reveal the clues of the writer's personality characteristics. For example:

1. In the structure of the font. The font is rigorous, honest, thorough and responsible; Loose structure, careless, frivolous, informal, happy-go-lucky; Procrastination, curiosity, flexibility, self-confidence, self-esteem and impatience; Appears to reduce the author, impatient, irritable, careless, and good at adapting to communication.

2. In writing speed. People who write fast are enterprising, flexible and innovative, and impatient and perfunctory; Slow, accurate, cautious, patient, conservative and rigid; Being unhurried belongs to the "golden mean", being unhurried with people and things, having self-control ability, keeping a straight face, being good at communication and being adaptable. The pen is agile, energetic, agile and generous, and has poor observation. Slow, unplanned, emotional and indecisive; Indulgence, paranoia and rebellion, poor self-control, heroic and generous love of freedom, strong understanding and creativity.

3. In writing. People who write too much are energetic, love life, independent and rebellious, stubborn and conservative; People who write too lightly are good at trying to figure out the inner world of others, lacking energy, moaning without illness, lacking self-confidence, weak will and strong dependence; Write evenly, have answers, be helpful, be clear-headed and have organizational ability, be emotionally stable and have self-control; On the contrary, uneven people are particularly interested in art, with poor fantasy spirit, unstable mood and insufficient determination. Hard keys are energetic, confident and enterprising, respected, rational, calm and decisive. The font is cowardly, timid, selfish and gentle, sickly and anaemic, muddle along and have no impulse.

4. Font size. Be outspoken, self-confident, take the initiative to take risks, strong personality, aboveboard, generous and meticulous; Small, cautious and alert, strong observation and endurance, lack of self-confidence, narrow-minded, selfish, stingy and greedy for small profits; The font is neither too big nor too small, with strong adaptability and moderation, but it is easy to go back on our word and contradict ourselves.

5. In the direction of a straight line. People who write "climbing" are enterprising, free and casual, ambitious, careless and careless, and their habits are hard to change; On the contrary, people who write "downhill" have no self-confidence, and depression, loneliness, eccentricity, pride and inferiority are unified; Pay neatly, disciplined, serious and educated, but pay attention to appearance and have secular habits; Uneven, generous and gregarious, impatient and smart; The style of payment is "art", with artistic temperament and aesthetic vision, humor and humor, and smooth appearance.

6. Smooth and round handwriting shows an easy-going and dexterous character; Angular and angular writing shows the author's aggressive character and strong desire for control; The unsmooth handwriting shows that the writer's character is lively and intuitive; Handwriting in one go can be said to be the continuous consistency of logical reasoning. If the last stroke reaches the elder, it shows that his personality is abduction; If the last one goes back, it shows that his personality is self-centered, and it may be difficult to communicate with the outside world, which is a defensive psychology.
