SAT/ACT
UCLA requires submission of SAT or ACT+ writing test scores, but does not require SAT II test scores. The average SAT and ACT scores of admitted students in 2015 are as follows:
Average SAT scores (25%-75%): Reading: 570-710; Mathematics: 600-750; Writing: 590-730 p>

AP/IB

IB courses: Get 5 points for high-level courses , 6 or 7 points can be used as credits. Standard level courses cannot be used as credits. Generally, the IB score of admitted students is above 38 points*()()

Graduate students:
Language requirements: TOEFL total score is no less than 87, writing is no less than 25, speaking is no less than 24, and reading is no less than 21 points, listening score not less than 17 points, IELTS total score not less than 7.0 points, no individual score requirements. If the admitted students do not meet the above language requirements, they need to take the school's Second Foreign Language Diagnostic Test (ESLPE). Based on the test results, it will be decided whether to participate in the language courses provided by the American English Center of the school. If students have a TOEFL score of 100 or above and an IELTS score of 7.5 or above, they do not need to take the ESLPE test.
