Personality assessment
An indelible name in the history of pop music in Taiwan Province Province (Sina Music Review)
The best thing about Weng Qingxi is that other composers of his generation can only compose music, but can't arrange music. But he will. This is all because he is closing the stall and starting his own business. (Li Xingping)
Personality dispute
Weng Qingxi pointed out that in 1986, Li Ge Record Company forged his signature and seal without authorization and transferred the copyright of his 157 songs to the company. The authorization period is 1973 to 1988.
He protested, and Li Ge Records Company signed an agreement with him in June 1999, stipulating that Li Ge would be the exclusive agent for "copyright reproduction" of these songs in 10. But later, Li Ge's management right was transferred, and he didn't pay the use fee since 2003, so he had to file a claim.
The court held that from the content of the agreement, Weng Qingxi was the copyright owner of these songs and ruled that he won the case. The Supreme Court of Taiwan Province Province rejected Li Ge's appeal yesterday, and the whole case was finalized.
