Theme goal: grasp youth and refuse to indulge in the internet.
Class meeting purpose:
1. Through this theme activity, the students further realized the negative effects brought by Internet cafes and strengthened their determination to refuse to indulge in Internet cafes.
2. Cherish school time, use the network correctly and improve professional skills.
Class meeting content: According to the Law on the Protection of Minors in People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Law on the Prevention of Juvenile Delinquency, a class meeting activity with the theme of "Stay away from Internet cafes and grow up healthily" was carried out in view of the current situation that a few students are addicted to the Internet, which affects their study and is not conducive to their healthy growth. Educating and helping students stay away from internet cafes has formed a good atmosphere among students at school. It is glorious to study hard, but it is shameful to be obsessed with surfing the Internet. During the class meeting, the students spoke freely. Many students think that entering Internet cafes has certain benefits, such as relaxing nerves and having fun playing games. We can broaden our horizons by looking up information on the Internet, but indulging in internet cafes is more harmful to our students.
Development mode:
Through the class teacher's speech, combined with making case or legal cartoon slides, watching representative case short films, students' classroom discussion and the class teacher's summary method, students' legal concept of indulging in the internet and strengthening self-protection can be strengthened.
Class meeting process: (25 minutes)
Case introduction:
Case 1: Indulge in online chatting and neglect their studies (take Zhu * *, the last classmate in our class who was expelled for surfing the Internet, staying up late, playing truant and skipping classes).
Case 2: Online games are addictive. For example, a 7-year-old boy, Xiao Xin, brutally chopped his grandmother and grandfather to steal money from the Internet.
Case 3: In the black Internet bar, the unhealthy teenagers, tempted by "those who are close to Mexico are black", tried to take soft drugs and embarked on the road of drug abuse.
Case 4: Black Internet cafes deeply affect the physical development of teenagers, and there are security risks in black Internet cafes. Take a fire incident in an Internet cafe as an example.
Case study:
Case 1: The main manifestations are as follows: First, students are minors, with poor self-control and weak sense of time. Sitting in an Internet cafe for half a day seriously affects the healthy development of body and mind. Second, most students enter Internet cafes to play games, and some students are addicted to it, so they can't concentrate in class and homework, which leads to weariness, truancy and decline in academic performance.
Case 2: Why did the little boy do this? According to the report of Beijing Youth Daily on June 9, 2000, "at least 10% of primary and middle school students are addicted to video games, and the addiction symptoms are very similar to heroin". The Wuhan mental health experts interviewed in this paper come to the conclusion by analyzing the cases they have come into contact with: once teenagers indulge in video games, they will have increasingly strong psychological dependence and desire to operate repeatedly, and when they can't operate, they will have withdrawal symptoms such as emotional irritability and depression. The coexistence of addiction symptoms and withdrawal symptoms is very similar to heroin addiction behavior. "... a prosecutor who has received juvenile criminal suspects for many years said that crimes caused by playing video games accounted for 10% of juvenile crimes last year. Some students frequent Internet cafes, spend all their spare money, and then take illegal means such as cheating, theft and extortion to commit crimes step by step.
Case 3: The complexity of the staff in the black internet bar leads to their own lack of progress, sloppy behavior and becoming unhealthy teenagers. A large number of unhealthy commercial and entertainment places have also entered our lives. In the survey, there is no significant difference in the distribution of entertainment places between idle juvenile offenders and non-idle juvenile offenders, but the overall proportion of them is high. As shown in the table: (Data from Youth Research Network)
Case 4: When teenagers are growing up, Internet cafes are not only polluted by air, but also have a bad environment and many security risks. For example, black Internet cafes are in remote places, and the safety facilities and safety protection capabilities are not in place.
Class meeting discussion: (10 minutes)
Please give positive examples around you to illustrate the help of using the network correctly, and give negative examples to illustrate the harm of indulging in the network. Thus, further improve students' understanding of the harm of indulging in the network.
Class meeting summary: (10 minutes)
Someone once made such a metaphor: Internet cafes are no less harmful to teenagers than cults, and they are "electronic drugs" that corrode teenagers. Many teenagers are addicted to Internet cafes because of its informative and novel features, a large number of online games, reactionary pornographic movies, and even preferential measures such as free accommodation and transportation provided by Internet cafe operators. This addiction is often inevitable, which is very similar to drug addiction. This obsession with internet cafes has at least the following obvious hazards to young people:
1, which affects the perfection of teenagers' personality. Long-term internet access makes the growing teenagers in the virtual world, confusing the real world with the virtual world. Someone once made a survey and found that students who are addicted to internet cafes often show reticence, withdrawn and unable to communicate with their classmates. These personality characteristics not only lead to bad consequences, but also make students unable to adapt to the changing society in the future.
2. Affect the formation of teenagers' honesty. Most teenagers' online content is online chatting. Because this kind of communication is anonymous, students usually say anything when chatting, and they have no scruples. Over time, the consequence is irresponsibility and lack of integrity.
3. Affect the emotional world of youth. Teenagers are at the age of love seeds, and they are eager to communicate with the opposite sex. The network provides them with such a space, but the "you, me and him" on the network is usually false, and this nihilistic emotion will only lead to teenagers falling into emotional misunderstanding and being unable to extricate themselves.
4. Affect teenagers' awareness of abiding by the law. Teenagers are easily influenced by the outside world because of their poor self-control ability. If they are corrupted too much by reaction, violence and pornography, they will often embark on the road of crime. There was once a student in our hospital who fought with a knife in an extremely violent way because he was surfing the Internet with outsiders in an Internet cafe. What happened? Be severely punished by the law, harm others and harm yourself.
Students, the Internet is a double-edged sword. If used correctly, it will provide a lot of help to our life and study. If we indulge in the internet, it will eventually ruin our lives. We should learn to make full use of the Internet. Remember, you can't please grasp your youth and refuse to indulge in the internet.
