The origin of Zheng Kai Marathon
At 5 pm on February 15, 2007, an exciting news reached Kaifeng, and the track and field management center of the State Sports General Administration officially agreed to hold the Zhengzhou-Bian International Marathon on May 6. On August 6th, 2006, a post on "Initiative on Holding Zhengzhou-Bian International Marathon" attracted wide attention of people in Kaifeng and Zhengzhou.
On the first day, Wang Xiangyang, who was hiking along Ryan Avenue, released this "whim" initiative on Dahe Forum under the screen names "Half Moon Brother" and "With the Wind", and it spread quickly on the Internet.
