1. lara croft was born in Surrey District Hospital. Her mother is Amelia Crawford and her father is Count Richard Crawford of abington, a controversial aristocratic archaeologist. From the age of three to six, Laura studied in a local girls' school in abington, where she showed extraordinary talent. Laura experienced an air crash when she was nine years old. Her plane crashed while flying over the Himalayas. The accident took away her mother forever. In this accident, Laura showed her tenacious will and strong desire for survival for the first time in her life. A nine-year-old girl spent ten days alone crossing the Himalayas, one of the most dangerous areas on earth, and finally arrived in Kathmandu. She called her father in the local bar and politely asked him to pick her up at his convenience.
In the six years after the air crash, Laura has been following her father to and from archaeological excavations around the world. During this period, although a private teacher taught Laura's school courses, in fact, she has completely become her father's full-time assistant.
When Laura was fifteen, her father disappeared in Cambodia. The relevant departments and Laura herself have launched a search and rescue operation, but in the end only some unidentified bodies have been found. Since the body of Earl Crawford has never been officially confirmed, Laura can't formally inherit the title. Laura's uncle, errol Croft, controlled the whole family and took the land in abington as his own. Although Laura finally regained her due inheritance through legal means, the lawsuit caused great harm to the relationship between Crawford family members. Laura finally became a stranger to her relatives.
